This conditioner smells good and really seems to condition the hair... I'm just not sure that I can tell any toning difference after two uses. Perhaps I need to leave it on longer (I was afraid of leaving it on too long intially). I washed it off my hands immediately, as instructed, and did not have any staining on my hands. It's been awhile since I had my hair balyaged- perhaps that's why the toning isn't more apparent? Maybe it would be most helpful right after a hair treatment?
I like the way the product works - the color came out beautiful on my hair. I have very thin hair, and the mask does dry it out a bit. So I needed to use some leave-in conditioner to moisturize my hair.
Overall, a very good product, Just not a perfect match for very thin hair like mine.

There are better products out there
It's a blonde violet toning product. It's not super special or unique from the other stuff that is also available in the drug store, like the classic go-to de-brass blonde product, Shimmer Lights. I will say this has much better scent than the fragrance of the Clariol Shimmer Lights collection (which smells "old").
As someone who is in love with all purple shampoo/toning products, I can definitely say that this is one I will be re-purchasing. It does a great job toning those yellow/brassy colors and leaves my bleach-blonde hair looking renewed and bright! It also smells great. I love John Frieda's entire line of Violet Crush products and they all deliver the same results, so I expected good things out of this product, and it delivered. Definitely recommend and it won't break the bank!
Product smelled amazing, however I couldn't really tell any difference is tone of my hair after using.

Makes your hair soft
I couldn’t tell much of a difference in the color of of my highlights but it did make my hair feel super soft. Maybe add a little more ingredients that help to tone more.
For all those blondes who don't want to mess with the brash this purple toning mask can do the trick especially when used regularly. Say good bye to brashiness in between color treatments and say hello to blonde beach waves for days! My hair stayed soft and sleek through each use. No additional frizz and decent scent too! I would definitely consider using this agai

Great product for blondes
Made my hair a lighter shade of blonde , didn’t dry out my hair at all. Doesn’t cost a lot of money and can be bought at any drug store basically.

Excellent Hair Mask
I am used to purple hair products that make hair extremely dry while it's doing its thing. This was not one of those products. It both removed brassy tones from my blonde hair and added moisture to my hair. A+ PRODUCT.

Perfect for maintaining blondes
Compared to other toning masks I’ve tried, this one doesn’t really tone to remove the brassiness but rather maintains a blonde. The mask definitely made my hair softer and more manageable while keeping the lighter blonde colors in my hair platinum blonde and not purple. I feel like this could be used as a conditioner more than anything.
This purple toning mask removed a fair amount of brassiness from my blonde hair. I do feel like it dried my hair our a bit, so I would recommend following with a nourishing hair mask.
