It works really well for 4K monitor connection with no lag, and the high-speed adaptability enhances the productivity of my Mac, with its native limited adapter options -- making this mini dock a must. The j5 USB-C DUAL 4K HDMI MINI DOCK has an extremely fast pass through charger. Charged my phone from 15% to 100% in 13 minutes while providing the "plugged in" power to my laptop. Also my daughters laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so with the j5 USB-C DUAL 4K HDMI MINI DOCK you can use it as an adapter by using it's port then plugging in the USB-C to laptop. HAVEN'T used the Dual hdmi ports yet but I already have plans to utilize them for work projects. Overall a good and helpful device for connecting multiple peripherals.

Very easy to use and connect my devices, which is a must for me. Chargers my iPad and even my phone (which is a android)at the same time. Very convenient to be able to charge my devices with the USB-C and not having a cord for this one and that one. I would highly recommend this product all the way around. This will be in my home for a very long time.

I received the docking station and was immediately impressed with how tiny it was. I plugged it in to my laptop and was able to hook up multiple devices with ease. It's super tiny so very portable and has every hookup you could ever want. I highly recommend this to everyone who needs a docking station

My husband is really messy and he has junk and cords all over his desk. This compact little dock from j5create makes a huge difference in organizing all of his cords and tidying up in general. It's so convenient for him to just have 1 plug for all of his accessories, screen, speakers, etc. Even though it's small there are plenty of ports for everything! It performs just as well as any larger unit I've used.

Setup was a little clunky and took a bit more push than a typical unit. But everything worked well and it’s a sharp looking pieces

Changing over to the USB-C instead of USB has been annoying, so this dock has been great! HDMI is one of those things I never need, until I need it. This was so handy to have around and it's only been a week.

The j5create works well to connect monitors to the computer however my computer did not want to connect using the power function. My computer kept trying to reconnect, causing my screens to go blank a few times. I gave up. Overall I give it a 3. I would use this product to connect several monitors but not as a power source.

The USB transfer speeds were average for the expected rate of 10Gbs for higher speed devices and was able to maintain high rates with multiple 5Gbs devices plugged into and using at the same time. The product I received did not have the Gigabit LAN port as stated in the description. The lack of connections was the biggest drawback to this device for me. At least an additional USB-C port or USB-A ports, even at 5Gbs, would have been welcome to use this as a USB HUB.

This is a USB hub with other ports, such as for cell phone and ethernet. It looks most useful for travel, especially for business travel (i.e., connecting your laptop to stuff to make presentations). I'm sure it has more uses but I'm not sure exactly what those are. Will keep handy for the future.

A really useful, powerful connection for my work from home set up! Has every port I need, and is simple to use. My work projects have never flowed this seamless! I highly recommend.

This mini dock is great my me because with my work I require two monitors and while apple computers are great they won’t really have enough ports so being able to have both my screens connected and still being able to run plug in camera cards and usbs to for customers makes my job way easier.
