Hum by Colgate kids smart battery powered toothbrush

Our daughter trialed hum kids by Colgate and as a parent I'm very impressed! The dots on the bottom of the brush engaged our child in a cute little game on the tablet while brushing, and really kept her attention. The brush was easy for smaller hands to grip, and the vibration not so strong as to shoot toothpaste all over the bathroom. The head was sized appropriately for kiddos and we actually spent time concentrating on truly brushing our teeth - a win win for any parent!! I wasn't too impressed with the stand however, as I was constantly afraid the tablet would fall into the sink or get water logged somehow. A big plus for kiddos and parents alike, I'd highly recommend the hum for kids. We received this product free of charge, as part of a sampling, in exchange for our honest opinions,

The hum kid was super easy to use and my kids loved it. It was really easy for my kid to hold the brush whie brushing their teeth. Overall, my kid has had no issues using this toothbrush and we will continue using it.

This hum smart toothbrush for children is excellent and has definitely exceeded my expectations! The toothbrush makes brushing teeth so much more fun for young children and I as the parent can now have peace of mind that my child not only brushes long enough but also thoroughly, while the integrated app game lets kids reach achievements and next levels when brushing correctly and twice daily as recommended. The app is easy to download and use, I love that it even sends reminders to brush teeth for my child, it’s very helpful! Overall, this toothbrush is gentle and thorough with sonic vibration that ensures a deep clean, and it’s also easy to hold for kids and has a small brush head that can be replaced when worn out. I love that this toothbrush stands up on its own with anti slip rubber dots at the bottom. I would definitely highly recommend this smart kids toothbrush!

Hum is a really cool product. I love how you can use the app to play a game that entices kids to brush, and do so more thoroughly. The game helps you figure out where to brush by directing you to brush certain areas to gain points and prizes in the game. It’s fun! My only criticism is it’s easy to move out of the frame and the toothbrush/app can’t keep tracking you. It was a little annoying to have to stay so still and centered while you brush in order to get tracked and get the points you deserve/want. The other thing I didn’t like is the method of slowly brushing one quadrant at a time is not my preferred method of brushing, so it was a learning curve over a manual toothbrush. Unfortunately my daughter was terrified of the vibration so I had to be the one to test the product. She’s only 2 though so I’m hoping as she ages she will be willing to give it a try, because I really do think it is an excellent and fun learning tool to get kids brushing and get them brushing more thoroughly.

We have tried both versions of this product, the non electric version and this electric version. My child is barely 4 and he’s not really into the vibration of the toothbrush so we usually just use the app without the vibration of the toothbrush. You obviously have to download the app to get the full effect of this brush. It’s fun and cute but you have to hold the brush so that the end is always in view which is a little difficult to always do. I usually just end up hoping my phone up for my toddler so I can make sure the brush is always in view. We don’t use the app every night because I don’t like him staring into a screen before bed. But this definitely helps him learn how to brush better.

We are very satisfied with the hum toothbrush!! I always worry with things like this being too harsh for my daughter, but she said it feels great. Her teeth are definitely cleaner with less effort from her! We know if we leave brushing to our kids own devices, they will likely barely perform. Lol. She has to put less effort in than a manual toothbrush but he rtewth have been MUCH cleaner!! Super happy with this product. And recommend highly.

Firstly i love the app and how this tech brush works.the brush itself is nice brightly coloed and sturdy perfect for little hands.the app clearly teaches kids how to brush and which spot to brush and how long which makes it absolutely wonderful. At the end of brushing it gives stars points awards based on brushing which is very encouraging plus the argumentative reality ar give them imaginative background and item like sea snorkel which is fun This definitely makes brushing fun.the bristles are so soft which can probably get worn off quickly. But ok for little kids.overall very good and would recommend anyone who want to teach their kids a good brushing habit.the interactive app also helps kids with autism as my sons understand easy from visuals.

My daughter really enjoyed this toothbrush. She was very excited to use the app on her tablet and allowed her to ensure she brushed every part of her mouth. I recommend this for anyone that has a kid.

I love the interactive side of this toothbrush. My 6 year old actually brushes his teeth for 2 minutes now. He loves taking pictures when he's done. I just wish there were more uses for the diamonds collected.

The concept behind this toothbrush is great, but I feel the AR falls a little short on performance, as it frequently has trouble tracking my child's movement. On the upside, they finally have an interest in brushing, as the app itself does a great job with motivation, so I would say this is a definite improvement over our manual brush we were previously using.

Where was this when I was a kid?! This electric toothbrush, designed for kids, is such a great idea. My toothbrush was $300 and includes an interactive app. Hum's price tag us around $25 and also includes an interactive app that finally makes brushing your teeth fun for our kids and helps them actually look forward to doing so with the help of clever games and challenges. The look of the brush is a little plain and I know my daughter would have liked something more girly, but that's not a huge deal. Being able to tell where they need to be focusing more while brushing is amazing too.

I receive this product complimentary for my child and he loves it first because his favorite color is red and that he leaned he could do games while brushing really make him wanna brush more often so I loved it

I and my twin boys love this toothbrush I went out to buy another one so that they can both test it out at the same time and they love it only thing is the one that I bought ended up being the manual one and so I’m not sure where I can find the battery powered one because target didn’t have it I ended up buying the wrong one and Walmart doesn’t have it either but other then that we love it just wish it would have been the battery powdered one.

This is such a great concept. The toothbrush works great and the app really helps motivate my child to brush her teeth. You can earn rewards so it really makes it fun for kids while teaching them healthy habits.

I will have to say that I never thought my twins would learn to brush there own teeth. After using the Hum by Colgate for 4 weeks now it has almost been accomplished. Thank you!
