Works Well!
The Equate Perm Rods are perfect size and are easy to use. The rods made having curls so easy to accomplish. This allowed me to add just a little extra styling to my daily look. I highly recommend the Equate hair rods.

Easy curls
I loved these perm rods. Obviously I did not do an actual perm with them as that’s not what these are used for these days (it’s not the norm, at least) for my test and my review, I just used them to add a little body to the hair framing my face. They worked great, all you need is your hair to be wet and put a little holding product of some type in your hair. Put the rods in and either dry your hair with a diffuser, or allow to air dry, remove the rods and voila!

Curled nicely
I really loved these Equate Perm Rods, and how I could use them without heat! The only thing is my hair is so thick I’d probably need to get a double pack to really get that tight perm curl.

Band too loose for long fine hair!!
The Equate Perm Rods 18 count didn't work well in my hair. I tried the rods in my wet hair without perm solution, and the band just wasn't tight enough to hold my hair. I have fine, long hair and I tried to tighten the rod to my scalp, which kept unrolling on me. My hair also was stuck to the rods and was hard to get out. The Equate Perm Rods may be more suitable for short to shoulder hair length hair, but I would not recommend for long style hair.

Love the curls !

Just like the more expensive rods
These are just like the more expensive rods and work just as well. I permed moms hair and they really worked great! She’s happy with the aftermath and so was I. Very easy to use and didn’t break or stretch too much

Very similar to salon perm rods
These rods seem to be sturdy. They are very similar to the rods used in our hair salon. The string popped out when I was inspecting one and it was very easy to to put it back together. Overall this is a very good product.

Loved using the perma rolls

Good for beginners, but no instructions
The Equate Perm Rods worked well overall but didn’t include any instructions. As a beginner using perm rods, I had to look up how to use them. Once I had the instructions, they were easy to put in and secure. The elastic band feature is a great touch—it kept the rods securely in place without hassle. They were easy to remove, and the results were nice-sized curls that weren’t too tight, giving a more natural look. A good choice for beginners.

Works better than expected.
I honestly wasn't expecting these to work as well as they did, I'm quite surprised. They're very easy to use, just wrap hair around roller and secure with the black rubber band included with the roller. You get 18 of them which is enough for, I'd say, shoulder length hair. I wore them overnight for best results. They aren't too bothersome while sleeping and stay intact. Affordable as well. I recommend.

Decent rod
These rods are pretty good they did what they were supposed to and curled my hair effectively. The product could be improved with better plastic but overall these rods are pretty decent
