Good lantern
The lantern was pretty bright and worked well. I wish the product came with its own batteries though. I like the handle and how easy it is to use. I also like the "flashlight" feature.

The Hike Lantern
This is perfect tool for all your hiking and camping trips. You can even use this within your house for special occasions or emergency solutions. The lantern has 4 modes which is very useful. Coming with 1500 W, this lasts for almost 5 hours or if you use a less power-mode like 150 W you can extend it for almost 30 hours. It's also worth mentioning that the light lens is shatter-proof and the lower body is water resistant. Last, but not the least, it could be hung anywhere when you remove the cap and use the hook.

Bright!
Great little lightweight lantern that provides plenty of light. The only downside is that it's battery operated and takes D batteries, which aren't something I normally have laying around the house. Otherwise, it gets the job done just fine.

great durable compact product that packs a punch . love that its so compact doesn't take up much space but does the job of a big light . we will actually be using it for household jobs ... under the sink behind appliances etc . its a wife light hubby can't have this one

many uses
We love to go camping and have tried many different lights but this one is different because it has different features. I love that I can use it as a lantern, a hanging lantern and that I can take the shatterproof lens off and hang it upside down for 360 degree lighting. If you use 1500 lumens, it lasts up to 5 hours and if you use 150 lumens, it lasts up to 70 hours. It's durable, reliable, water resistant, and lightweight, only weighs 1.06lbs. It has 3 modes, cool light, warm light and strobe for signaling. It's great for camping, work, emergencies, or anytime you need a light, especially when the power goes out. It's LED so it doesn't get hot. I just don't like that there weren't any instructions because I don't know how to make the blinking green light around the power button stop blinking when it's off, it's just going to run the batteries down. I just unscrewed the bottom so that there wasn't a connection and took the batteries out when stored until I needed it again.

I Love how bright it is!

Convenient
Many of the lanterns are dim even at full power and would not light up much of a space. This lantern has a range from low to very bright. On low setting, the batteries will last a long time, on high the batteries last for only a short time. This is the reason I gave it three stars on battery life because it depends on how you use it. With that said, the quality of this lantern seems very good. I would use rechargeable batteries for this.

Convenient Camping Lantern
This was a great camping lantern by Energizer. My family backyard camp night was elevated by the easy to use Energizer Lantern. I love the dimming feature and brightness settings, and the ability to pop off the top and hang as an overhead light. It has great coverage and not blinding to be around. Even though it takes batteries this Lantern is lightweight and I’m comfortable allowing the younger ones to carry it around from area to area. The glass is shatter-proof and does not get hot, which makes me comfortable. The lifespan before replacing batteries is great and will last a long time. I do wish it was USB rechargeable in terms of being a bit more earth friendly, however off grid camping it will perform perfectly and reliably as long as you pack a few sets of batteries. The price point is spot on for all of the features this lantern packs. I will definitely purchase one for each member of my family. Thanks @HomeTesterClubNA and @Amazon for shedding light on a great product!
