Quality knives

This knife block is great quality with an assortment of knives for all types of cooking. The entire knives are metal, including the handles. The knives and scissors are sharp and work well, and it comes with a sharpener for when one is needed. The knife blades slice right through meat and vegetables, and the scissors cut well and are smooth to use, with a ring of black rubber in the finger holes for comfortable use. For best care, I avoid washing them in the dishwasher (though you can). They don’t seem like they’ll rust easily like my last set of knives. The block looks nice on the counter. There are knives for cutting meat, paring, chopping vegetables, and more—practically everything you need in one block. It’s very convenient to pull one out of the block when I need it.

Great

I have seen many Cuisinart appliances and tools at the store many times. I didn’t really pay any attention to it until I realized that my oven mitt is from the same company. These knives work really well. They cut throughly so you don’t have to keep cutting the same area. Just cut through it once and that’s it. I like how it comes with different sized knives and each knife has its own slot on the knife block. It was a nice addition to my kitchen.

Cuisinart Elite Series 15pc Block set

I am honestly thoroughly impressed with the quality of this set so far. These knives are not just beautiful, but the German steel blades are perfectly balanced and the ergonomic design ensures great results wherever you use them.The handles are hollow, but they still feel nice in your grip. I am surprised that they have a lifetime warranty and that tells me they back their product. The oddest knife in the set is the Birds beak paring knife. I never used a knife like that and was pleasantly surprised how great it works.I should probably mention how razor sharp these knives are, so take care while meal prepping. The Acacia wood block is simple yet beautiful and assures my knives will stay nice and sharp for years to come. Cuisinart gets two huge thumbs up for this German steel collection.

Good Quality Knife Set

My overall opinion of this set is that it is good quality and will last many generations. Most of them are very sharp out of the box,(slicing notebook paper easily), except for the paring knife didn't slice paper very well.I especially like the santoku knife, it will be my go to knife in the kitchen. The handle is a little too large and isn't perfect for using the normal pinch grip but it's adequate. I like the addition of the birds beak knife. It will come in handy. Now for the negatives. The chef knife is not useful at all, it has a strange shape for a chef knife with too much curve on the cutting edge, and tapers to much to a fine point. The paring knife has too thick of a spine to be very useful (.0675 inches at the handle end tapering to .033 at the top). The included knife block is nice. Overall it is a good set and I would recommend it with slight reservations.

Beautiful 15 piece knife set!

I absolutely love this gorgeous knife set from Cuisinart Elite! The knives themselves are made of German steel and feature hollow handles, which makes them ergonomic and easy to handle. The knives cut smoothly and beautifully through food. I appreciate that it's a 15 piece set, so there's a perfect knife for any and all occasions! Not to mention, the knife block is beautiful acacia wood and looks wonderful on my counter top!

Cuts everything like butter

I replaced my old knife set with this one, my old set was very dull, and I was just used to the feeling of having to put extra pressure and trying extremely hard to cut things and cutting the same area twice. With this set, it literally cut everything like butter. I had to adjust my skills because I was so used to working with such dull knives. so if you get this set be prepared to be working with extremely sharp knives. I was literally so amazed how it just glided through my chicken with a little to no resistance. The scissors are also one of my favorite components of the set because they are so nice and sharp and heavy duty and they just cut right through like a little knife scissors. The set looks very elegant and expensive.

Great looking knife set.

I really like how the handles and the knife are one piece. Most knife sets have wood or plastic handles and to me they feel cheap. This set feels more high end in hand with it's one piece construction. I like that the block doesn't have the built in sharpener, it keeps the size of the block down for a more compact foot print. Knives appear to be well sharpened from the factory too. My only complaint is that the serrated "bread" knife isn't as long as I would like it to be. For some one who who is always doing garlic bread I want a longer bread knife.

Perfect block set

Great set of knives

My old set of steak knives finally wore out, so after reading reviews I bought this set. I like how many different types of knives this set includes along with the scissors. The steak knives are nice and sharp and cut thru even tough pieces of meat. The other knives slice thru cheese, bread, vegetables with a nice sharp edge. They have a nice weight to them and do not feel flimsy at all. The wooden holder is perfect for storing my knives in. Definitely recommend.

Love!

Can’t go wrong with this brand. They never disappoint! That extends to this knife set. Durable. Beautiful design. Stays sharp for a long time - and I cook a lot (stay at home mom that cooks at least half the day because food is my love language).
