I liked the flavor because it tasted like regular toothpaste I couldn't taste any charcoal. The charcoal in the toothpaste is black and when cleaning teeth you don't see the color until you spit it out. I have been using less than a week and I think it's working great so far. My husband and I would most likely buy this again for ourselves and kids toothpaste for our kids especially since my youngest sometimes swallows a little toothpaste if he doesn't get it all out when he spits.

Oh my goodness...Colgate, has exceeded my expectations once again.This is by far one of the best toothpaste products I have ever used.The ending results are amazing.My teeth are whiter,my mouth feels fresher than ever and the taste is great.I have tried charcoal base toothpastes before ,from other brands,and the taste was not good.Colgate brand has changed my thought process on how these types of toothpaste should taste and perform. Thank you Colgate.Try it and you will be glad you did.

I really like this toothpaste. It leaves my mouth feeling squeaky clean and I feel like my mouth stays fresher way longer. I have only been using the paste for about a week so I haven't seen any whitening (plus my teeth are very badly stained) but I would imagine that this toothpaste will keep them the same shade and not allow them to get worse. The charcoal element is faint -- only a strip through the white paste (I thought the whole paste would be black) but it doesn't taste weird and doesn't alter the texture. I like the big tube as well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this toothpaste.

Colgate Total Whitening with Charcoal is one of the best toothpaste I have used in recent years!!! Leaves your teeth feeling extra clean, Love it !!! I would definitely buy it again and I highly recommend it.

It seems as if Colgate is really trying to meet customers where they are in terms of their oral health. I know a lot of the health conscious brands are incorporating charcoal in their products so I was happy to see Colgate follow suit. I liked the taste and texture. It made my mouth feel fresh.

I have been a long time user of Colgate Total Whitening so I was really excited to try this new product made with Charcoal. When first trying this product, I recognized the same familiar taste of the original Colgate. My entire mouth felt cool and clean! I love that this product helps fight bacteria, not only on my teeth, but my entire mouth. This toothpaste left my mouth feeling extremely clean and fresh! I highly recommend!

This was so much better than what I currently use. Everyone in my family loved it. It has a great taste and texture to go with it. The charcoal helps it foam up nicely and leaves a nice tingle to it after. Will definitely look for this next time in store

Not 100% confident about all the chemicals that are included in this toothpaste and their long-term effects on the teeth enamel, but overall it seems to do a decent job of cleaning and whitening the teeth. Not sure if it is the best bang for the buck considering it is relatively expensive.

Colgate Total is my preferred brand of toothpaste. I have tried other brands of charcoal toothpaste in the past and was interested in trying Colgate Total's version. I was very pleased. My teeth appear whiter. The taste is pleasant. I recommend this product and intend to purchase again.

Provides excellent cleaning and whitening of teeth. Does make a whitening difference after using the charcoal toothpaste. It also freshens the mouth.
