Good toothpaste with slight whitening
Colgate Total Whitening Gel Toothpaste is a good fluoride toothpaste that works well to get my teeth clean. It has a good flavor and is easy to use. It only slightly whitens though, but that is better than nothing considering how easy it is to use - you just brush with it.

Clean fresh

Colgate Total Whitening™ Gel Toothpaste
As a frequent Crest toothpaste user, I was pleasantly surprised when I gave this toothpaste a try. The Colgate Total Whitening™ Gel Toothpaste has an above average taste and is a refreshing change from the sameness of tastes from other toothpaste brands. I haven't really noticed much as far as a difference in the actual whitening factor, but my teeth do actually feel clean. I have observed a lot of so-called natural toothpastes on the market and have tried samples of several of them. I will certifiably state that none of those natural toothpastes feel or taste like they are doing anything as far as cavity protection, gum maintenance and whitening teeth. I cannot say that Colgate is better than Crest, but I can say it is (in my opinion) better in quality and in taste than most of the other brands of toothpaste. Now, as far as how it compares to the higher level version of Colgate, the Colgate Optimum series, this Colgate Total Whitening™ Gel Toothpaste is a much better buy.

Multi-benefit paste
I found the Colgate Total Whitening Gel toothpaste to be pleasant in flavor, it lathered in my mouth, but wasn't super "foamy". It didn't sting or leave an unpleasant aftertaste. I was left with a clean mouthfeel and fresh breath.

Not too minty
I received a free tube of Colgate Total Whitening™ Gel Toothpaste to try for my honest review. I replaced my normal brand of tooth paste foe the Total Whitening Gel for 1 week. After trying I did notice a slight whitening of my front teeth, but did not find that it left my mouth feeling fresh and minty after a short period of time, as I do with my regular brand. If you do not like a lot of mint in your toothpaste, I would suggest you try this brand for you. I also liked the way the gel foamed up and cleaned my teeth in general, unlike paste toothpaste that takes some work to get it to foam up. Over all great whitening toothpaste, without a overwhelming mint aftertaste.

The all in one toothpaste!
What doesn't this toothpaste (state to) do? I've been a Colgate consumer for as long as I can remember, this was always the preferred brand growing up, I am unfortunately prone to serious dental problems, so besides visits to the dentist, trying my best at eating healthy/plenty of water, at least rinsing my mouth after every food and drink, flossing, I am always on the lookout for the best toothpaste for my needs, my teeth are hyper sensitive by the way, so I would always purchase a separate toothpaste that was specifically for sensitivity, now this Colgate Total with stannous fluoride plus whitening claims to do it all, a complete mouth approach: plaque, gingivitis, enamel, whitens, sensitivity relief, you name it... so far I am quite satisfied, I like the tube design, as this is my preferred design simply because it works and it stands still, I love the turquoise-white minty gel flavor, and the feeling of clean and fresh mouth is great. I am confident it will provide what I need.

Healthy Mouth, Fresh Breath & Wow!
This is the only toothpaste I have ever used that leaves my mouth fresh for hours! After only 4 days it is hard to test the whitening effect but I hope with regular use it will do so. The gel on my Sonicare toothbrush does not hold up for the full 2 minutes but I swirl it around my mouth like a mouthwash to get that tingling feeling! I plan to buy this again, and will look for a paste formula to try in the future!

Minty and Effective
I love Colgate products and the Colgate Total Whitening™ Gel Toothpaste is no exception. The gel toothpaste is the perfect consistency. It's not too thick and spreads evenly on the teeth. It tastes amazingly minty and leaves a nice aftertaste. Please note that I've only been using the product for a few weeks so I can't comment on the whitening ability yet. However, I'd say this is a solid, affordable toothpaste.
