I was eager to try these, but with pandemic prevention efforts like masking, social distancing, and frequent hand washing becoming mainstream, I have not had a cold since the beginning. These lozenges have a natural, mixed berry flavor which is subtly pleasant. Its active ingredients are listed as Zinc gluconate, Sambucus Nigra, which relieves cough, nasal congestion, and irritated respiratory tract, and Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice), which relieves throat irritation. They come in a bag of 25 individually wrapped lozenges so it is easy to just grab a few to take along with you.

Both my daughter (17) and myself (47) got nailed with a major cold. We both took the Cold-EEZE® Plus Cold and Flu Symptom Relief Natural Mixed Berry Flavor Lozenges. My daughter has an incredible immune system and very rarely get sick. I on the other hand have a compromised immune system. We both started taking lozenges, but my daughter absolutely hated the taste of them and only took two. I thought the taste was better than most cold medicines. What I didn’t care for was how it gave me an extremely dry mouth-throat, the directions say to not drink or eat anything for 15 minutes after use, which was a little bit of a pain due to the mouth/throat dryness. My cold lasted only 5 days, but my daughter who only took two was stuck with a nasty cold for almost two weeks. I will have these on hand for when the next cold/flu. These obviously helped tremendously considering I recovered a week earlier. So even though my finicky teenager disliked them, I definitely think it’s worth it.
