Great vibrant color
I used the clairol bold and bright black hair color and it was great. It added a nice shine to the black color and stayed on my hair for a long time. It was like salon quality.

Great full coverage
Great full coverage hair dye. Really easy to apply, covered evenly, and didn't have a bad smell. I like that it didn't wash pit really easily and the color is gorgeous and matched my skin.

Love it

Used on my mom’s grey hair
My mom has been insecure about her grey & white hairs growing in. She has naturally dark black hair & has never colored her hair in her whole life of 60 years, so I used this to cover up her roots. She felt so much better after and it made me happy to see her have some confidence back!

20 Black Licorice
I was in need of a color touch-up since my grays were starting to show. Although the box does not specifically mention covering grays, I decided to put it to the test. To my surprise, the hair color perfectly covered my grays and gave me a bright and perfect black color. However, there were some downsides. The hair color can be messy to use and I noticed tiny specks of dye on the wall afterward. It also stained my skin, but this could have been avoided if I had followed the instructions to clean my skin immediately and not after I was done applying the hair dye.

Made my hair SO shiny
I loved this hair dye! I used the black licorice and it was perfect for my tan neutral skin. The color wasn’t overpowering like other blacks could be. The packaging was easy to use and the instructions were clear. This stuff you leave on for 30 minutes which was great since I wasn’t sitting around for a long time waiting. My hair feels so healthy today and didn’t change the way my hair felt.

Clairol Bold & Bright
So, I normally dye my hair a blue black using boxed dye at home so when I received this dye in Black Licorice, I was excited to try it. I had never purchased a color like this before (even if it’s still a shade of black). When I moxed the product, I noticed there wasn’t a super strong odor like the one I usually use. I also noticed the fumes didn’t burn my eyes which is a major plus. I followed the instructions on the box even though it’s like the other dyes I use. The color itself isn’t a blue black but it is definitely a black I had never considered before but like! It definitely does give off the licorice vibe which is also still pretty cute in my opinion.

Natural Looking
I really enjoyed using this hair color, the process was very simple. I like this licorice color it’s a black color but still looks natural on me, no one knows it’s dyed. It covers up my gray hairs really well, I’m really impressed with this store box dye. The only down side is I wish they had a bottle design for the conditioner and / or color boost glaze instead of the packets because I have thick hair. Overall I enjoyed this hair color dye.

Clairol Bold & Bright - "Black Licorice - 20" You need to mix the tube with the bottle, shake it, and remove the little plastic piece so that you can squeeze the mixed product out. Be sure to wear the clothes as you put the mixed product on to your hair. The mixed product has a nice fragrance. It also comes with a conditioner.

I really like this dye
I haven't used the second pack that contains gloss yet but,recently tried the black licorice hair dye, and I must say I'm impressed! The color came out rich and deep, exactly as I wanted. Not only did it cover my previous color evenly, but it also left my hair feeling incredibly soft and silky. I'm pleasantly surprised by how healthy my hair looks after using this dye. Overall, a positive experience and definitely my go-to choice for achieving beautiful black hair!"
