Safe and effective

Finding a sunscreen that is safe and effective for my fair skin kids is a top priority. Too thick

This Blue Lizard sunscreen for kids has a great SPF rating, but usability is not practical for kids. It needs to be thinner and easier to wash off with soap and water. Too thick.

Safe and effective

I’m very particular about the chemicals I put on my kids. Blue Lizard does a good job putting nontoxic ingredients in their products. The formula does go a long way and does rub in with a little effort. It also protects their fragile skin from the sun as advertised. I wish it didn’t stain fabrics as I have white streaks on the black fabric of the stroller, but I tolerate it for the clean sun protection.

Must have! Especially for Mineral

I absolutely love Blue Lizard! The one I have is the Elmo spf 50. It comes in a bottle that turns purple when it is in harmful uv rays. It rubs in REALLY well, like one I have never seen before, for mineral sunblock. The price is great, I found it at Walmart which is awesome because those stores are everywhere. I would totally recommend trying it even if you think its not for you.... trust me, if you are looking for a mineral sunblock for your little ones, this is the one for you!

The only sunblock I will use on my babies

This product came highly recommended by an oncologist I work with that specializes in Melanoma. He said it's what he used on his kids and now I do the same. I love that this is nice and thick and gives them a nice coat of protection. I reapply as directed and have never had any issue with sunburn. My kids are both very fair, so protecting them is so important. I would highly recommend this product.

Great sunscreen, a little goes a long way! Rubs in well with a little elbow grease but provides great long-lasting protection, non-irritating, and waterproof.

Good sunscreen for kids

The blue lizard baby sunscreen spf 50 plus was a good product that seemed to protect from the sun well and rubbed in on the kids skin pretty well for a mineral sunscreen which is all we use due to the chemicals in typical sunscreens. Would probably recommend and like the uv color changing cap

It changes COLOR!!!!

Blue Lizard Sunscreen (Baby SPF50+) is absolutely wonderful. It covers great and turns an awesome pink color when exposed to harmful uv rays!!! My kids and I love it.

Works great & love color changing cap!

I’ve used this sunblock on my kids (5&3y) and myself. Goes on nicely and doesn’t irritate our skin - we are all pretty sensitive. No sun burns and no burning eyes after dunking in the water. It’s a win!

Amazing product

I absolutely loved this product! It went on with a pinkish white color and became transparent once it dried so you knew I'd you missed a spot. It rubbed it very quickly with no issues.

Great for Sensitive Skin

The cap changes color to indicate if you are getting UVA/UVB rays (or sunlight) which is a very neat feature. It was great for sensitive baby skin and didn't cause any reaction. Worked very well at preventing sunburn and while it was very water resistant, it washed off fairly easily with soap and a washcloth. Baby didn't seem to mind it being put on and it didn't run into her eyes at all while we were in the water. Would definitely buy!

Great kids sunscreen!

This Blue Lizard Sunscreen is a must have if you have kids! It goes on nice and thick but rubs in well and doesn’t leave a strong white cast. The high SPF is really effective in protecting my 6 and 3 year old’s skin and I was very please that they barely even got a tan while at the pool wearing it!
