Good one pan dinner option
Pretty good and unique take on a tomato pesto sauce. Wished it was little bit oiler so that the sauce is easier to spread; had to add just a little bit of pasta water. Also added a bit more seasoning to spice it up a bit.

Creamy and flavorful
This was fun to experiment with and the taste was delicious. I tried with pasta and also used to dip some pita bread in. It a versatile pantry item and another quality Barilla item.

Delicious
I really enjoyed the creamy tomato pesto sauce. It's not like your typical green pesto but it has a really nice flavor and it's mild so there's no acidity or spice to it. It kind of reminds me of a vodka sauce almost. You could taste the fresh herbs and the tomato and it was really great on just plain spaghetti but I can see using this in a pasta sauce for even cold pasta I think it would be good like in a pasta salad. It was super simple to use I just cooked some pasta and then tossed the pasta with the sauce.

Great pasta sauce

Barilla thrilla pesto!
I wasn’t expected a blast of flavor that’s I received in the brill’s pesto container! Such a small bottle holds a lot of flavor and taste! It fed 2 nicely for one meal. Overall I’d get it again but if cooking for more than two I’d get two!

Alright
Was our first time trying pesto. I'm not sure that I'd ever get it on my own, but it was definitely worth the try. I didn't enjoy it,but my oldest said it wasn't horrible but not her favorite. I'm glad we tried it over all.

Rich, Creamy & Tangy
I really enjoyed this Barilla Pesto Creamy Tomato Sauce. The jar is small but it was more than enough for a box of pasta. The tomato sauce is creamy, oily, but not too much oil and tangy. I will definitely try it again as a spread on toasted bread.

Delicious
The product itself was delicious, light in taste and creamy, it was slightly thicker than i had expected but i liked that about it. It was a smaller portion that i expected, i have a family of 6 so i hope in the future they would come out with a larger option.

Decent flavor
I was able to test this product for free for an honest review. Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of red sauces, but I decided to try this one as it fit well with my keto diet. I made spaghetti squash with this and was actually pleasantly surprised that it did not change the flavor of my original recipe. While I do prefer to not change the recipe, this addition to it made it a bit more creamy than usual. I do not think I would purchase this on my own, but it as not a horrible tester.

Dinner made easy
The barilla creamy tomato pesto sauce made a simple week night dinner special. The components of the sauce are balanced. The simple flavors appeal to the adults and kids in my household. You can heat and pour over pasta or add to various other ingredients to extend the sauce into a full easy to prepare meal- we added cubed chicken , mushrooms and zucchini atop a basic rice .

Creamy tomato pesto
I found the flavor to be overbearing and too tangy to be used straight out of the jar as a pasta sauce. I added about 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream as well as a ladle full of pasta water and it was still pretty sharp. I think it is better suited as a spread for a crusty bread before baking.
