Not a fan of this product
I was turned off by this product on the first use. When I went to squeeze a small amount out to use on my baby it popped out of the hole and went everywhere. Unfortunately I couldn't get the product back into the tube so that was a waste of product on top of a big gooey mess to clean up while trying to change a wiggly baby. It did apply easily to the diaper area. It is very very greasy tho. My baby was unbothered by the product. He had no bad reactions to it. However I don't feel like it did anything to help prevent rashes when he did poop. He has very sensitive skin and rashes everytime he poops. I had high hopes this would help us prevent more rashes in the future. However it did not.

Versatile and a must have!
Overall, I love A+D Ointment, it has been a staple in my diaper bag since my son was a baby. He is now 3 1/2 and I have used this for so many reasons other than his diaper including minor cuts and scrapes, dry lips, and he tends to break out in a rash from sucking his fingers that I use it for too. I love the versatility and the fact that it’s unscented too.

Not just for babies
I am an older woman and use this product for all my skin irritations. I have various skin rashes and dry skin. I have also used it for dry lips in winter and small cuts and wounds. I do advise my family and friends to use this for most all skin ailments.

Great for diaper rash if reapplied with every change. I prefer aquaphor but if I don’t have it this will do.

My go-to
I’ve been using A+D Original Ointment for years. From tattoo care or dry skin, to wounds and baby bottoms - it’s effective for it all. The vitamin A and D help moisturize skin and help skin irritations recover faster. A must have for any first aid kit.

I used this product since I’ve had my son 18 months ago and I put it on his scratches or scrapes or even diaper rash and they always heal up very fast leaving no scars or blemishes!

Rash Free
I will always support A&D, it works great on my children to help prevent and treat diaper rash. I have also used it on healing a tattoo and a painful chapped upper lip. There are many uses and they have all worked for me!

The smell is not the greatest but this is a go to product that works well. I use it every diaper change.

It stinks but it does the job
It’s been around forever because it works! It doesn’t smell good, though. My kids are long grown and I keep it. Sometimes you just need a little extra protection to your skin barrier whether that’s on your bum or elsewhere. A&D is recommended by dermatologists for a reason—it does the job and it’s gentle on your skin.
