Cat didn’t love
I saw lots of reviews saying their cat didn’t love this. Mine would only eat a few bites and leave the majority in his bowl. It made us so sad!! We tried both flavors but neither were a hit. Consistency is mushier than expected

Not for my cat
My cat, who normally isn’t too picky, didn’t care for this food at all. He’d walk over, give it a sniff, and walk away without even trying it. I appreciated that it wasn’t overly smelly like some other wet foods, and seems to have some great ingredients and vitamins, but unfortunately just wasn’t right for my cat.

Wouldn’t buy again
My cats seemed to enjoy the food but they had some kind of reaction to it. All 3 of my cats ended up with inflamed gums after having this food, and nothing else about their diet or habits changed so it could be the only answer. Not sure what the reason for the reaction was but I certainly wouldn’t try it again.

ACANA Pate: Mixed Reviews from Our Cats
I currently have five cats at home, including one foster cat. We tried the ACANA Premium Pate Variety Pack: Salmon & Chicken, valued for its high-quality ingredients. Despite its health benefits, the price feels steep at almost $2 per can, especially since one can mixed with dry food lasts only a day per cat. Although my cats usually favor salmon and chicken flavors, this pate wasn't their favorite. They ate it without much enthusiasm, a common reaction from them towards foods with premium ingredients. Additionally, my oldest cat struggled with the pate's texture, and I found the cans challenging to open. If your priority is ingredient quality, ACANA might be worth a try. However, for picky eaters like mine, it might not be the best fit.

The entire crew loved it!
We love our cats, and I am a little skeptical about having them try new products since I don't want to upset their digestion or their overall well being. That being said I was very happy to have them try this very high quality product. At the end of my first test we had empty bowls, full bellies and nobody threw up. The second time I fed them this product our most food motivated cat nearly knocked me over to get to his plate. If he could write a review I think it would just say "MORE!!!"

My cats devoured this!
I have two cats, one is a can goblin and the other is a bit more apprehensive about eating in general. They both really enjoyed this food and even started meowing and following me around for more!

My cats did not enjoy this
Two of my three cats got sick after eating this food. I’ve never seen them act in such a way. They ate usually both ready to eat when time comes around. They had a horrible experience. My one other cat enjoy it but she doesn’t mind different foods.

The verdict is in: kitty judge loves it!
We have a four year old cat who is a notoriously picky eater. I mean, she will look at me like I’m pranking her if she doesn’t like the look or smell of her food. The Acana pate was a HUGE win! Immediately after opening the can the first time, she was circling my legs like a screeching black shark. She absolutely devours this cat food! We have noticed a definite spike in her cat zoomies since starting the food as well. I love that the main primary ingredients are natural, all real meat. We would definitely recommend!
