Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Ultimate Men’s Razor

I was very pleased with this razor. It always gives a smooth finish and leaves you with a clean finish.

It offers a smooth and comfortable shave. The razor’s design, featuring multiple blades and a skin guard, ensures a close and efficient shave without the usual nicks or razor burns. The blades are durable and easy to clean, while the ergonomic handle provides a secure grip. Overall, it's an excellent choice for those seeking a balance of comfort and precision in their shaving routine. However, I find the replacement blades slightly expensive.

Razor gives a good clean shave, nice and close and doesn't leave any irriation

The razor is decent, and that's it. It doesn't blow the mind and despite the claimed extra features, it managed to make it less of an experience than anything else. The "shock absorbers" only made me unconsciously press the razor harder as a certain amount of pressure is needed for a closer shave. I would still stick with the Gillette ProGlide as it lets you shave at angles which is a feature I value a lot more than shock absorbing my own hand's pressure.

Love how close the shave is. It glides so well and i did not end up with any nicks. I will now be using this as my go to brand.

This Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 shaver gave me a very close shave. No skin irritation which is a bonus. Easy to use.

Have previously used Wilkinson products before and they never disappointed. This razor is up there with the best shave experience to date. The blades provided a smooth clean shave without irritation or cuts. I got a nice clean shave each time I shaved using this cartridge. In total I used in for about 5 shaves before throwing it away! I don’t shave every day so this was perfect! Highly recommend and will be using in the future!

A very easy to use razor. By previously having old and cheap razors, you can really tell the difference between a good and bad razor. And this product is great to use

Looks premium feels premium and actually works premium

Before my 1st shave I was rather sceptical about the razor. “Oh another razor blade with 1 more Blade than the last version” was my 1st thought. I was proved wrong with my 1st shave, as it was super sharp I didn’t have to have a 2nd clean up shave as the blades are super sharp. Having used disposable razors in the past and knowing how costly they can be and also how quickly they get blunt I was dubious of another “Manly razor blade” but I have to say I was wrong. I really like these Blades. I used them for a number of shaves now and they still feel razor sharp like the 1st shave I had with them.

The box it came in is very well presented and looks pleasant. Once opened the razor itself looks nice too. This design has a flexible head more than any other on the market, this can be locked into a static position with an easy to use little sliding tab. You also have the strip at the top that moisturises after the blades pass which you can fold back to shave tighter spots if you need to, like around the nose area. After the first use the additional flex in the head makes for a comfortable feel while shaving which was great but sometimes it was so soft a shave it didn’t catch all the hairs for me so I had to do multiple passes on spots, even when locked into place it aided a little but not enough and ended with me cutting the back of my head twice in 2 sessions. It’s a great idea but not executed properly. I think the issue is the blades are too close and the angle of them is wrong. The moisture strip tends to just leak the gel which isn’t good. I’ll stick to my regular razor for now!
