Tefal Express Essential Iron Review
Overall the Tefal Express Essential is a good iron. It is my first steam iron with a separate steam generator so I can only compare to a standard steam iron. Pros - has a large water capacity, it has a long cord which makes ironing easier, it produces a good amount of steam, there are different settings for different materials, it has a light to indicate when hot. Cons - the iron itself is much heavier than expected which can be tiring, the water compartment doesn't come away separately so is a bit annoying to empty, the steam button takes some getting used to. Overall it is a much better iron than my old one!

Once you get used to it, it's fabulous!
Having used my trusty iron for the last X amount of years, the Tefal Express Essential took a bit of getting used to. Especially with smaller children's clothes as by the time I had pressed the button and waited for the steam, I was ready to move onto my next part. However, I persevered and got used to it and was impressed! My thick, brushed cotton bedding was no issue for it and came out with no creases. I usually leave this bedding as it looks no better after an iron. My clothes were ironed much quicker than when I use a normal iron. I would certainly recommend one and intend to continue using it myself.

Excellent product
I have tried this product for 1 week now on various items of clothing and I found it very easy to use and it had cut my ironing time in half. I love the fact you can use it as a normal iron or as a vertical steamer which I have found especially useful for my partners suit jackets and trousers.

It's ok
The positives are the price and ease of use, the negatives steam doesn't seem that powerful and I find the iron itself quite heavy. I think this is a well priced steam generating iron, especially as it's easy to pay 3 times the price, and for what you get is a decent quality iron which is super easy to use. While it easy to use, couple of things stops it being perfect. I found the steam not as powerful as my previous Tefal and the iron itself could be lighter which would help the ironing process and being kinder to your wrist and hand. Just a note it does feel take a bit of time to warm up. I'm not 100% if I'd recommend, but if someone asked for a value solution then I would definitely mention this iron. I think I would not buy again, I would probably spend a bit more next time. In summary I see this as a good value product that does everything expected of it, just don't expect anything spectacular.

Great product
This is a wonderful product. It's the first steam generator iron I've had and I can't believe how easy it is to use. It really has transformed my ironing experience. I don't need to re fill the water tank every 5 minutes as I did using my conventional iron. This is particularly useful as I wear a lot of shirts. It really does glide across the ironing and remove the creases so easily.

The steam!
Steam performance is out of this world- great for dresses, shirts, silk blouses and for any material type that you struggle to put an iron over (saree's work amazing!). I cannot fault this.

I used to hate ironing but not now this is brilliant and so easy to use works really well
