Amazing! Say goodbye to heavy Stewpots!
I didn’t realise how much easier the Tefal Air would be to use compared to a traditional heavy cast iron stewpot. It is so light to move around yet still just as durable, and really easy to clean after use. Style is very important to me and the Tefal Air looks really stylish when it is in use and cooked the food perfectly. I would definitely buy more kitchenware from Tefal and would look out for the Air range.

All I needed
I’ve been looking for something like this for months.I didn’t even know exactly what I wanted.I needed something in which to fry, stew when necessary, then bake…so I was looking for a massive and deep roaster or pot, necessarily with a fireproof lid, but not heavy and if it can be cleaned easily. It sounded almost impossible to me. However, it is possible! The first thing that makes an impression when you open the box is the color – stylish gray.The pot is quite large in volume and really looks massive and heavy, but it only seems so.It is much lighter than it looks!But I was most impressed when I started cooking.The products really slide along the bottom-it’s really non-stick. The food becomes very tasty and healthy/the unique lid helps with this/.I use it for baking, slow cooking, stewing, frying... the result is always excellent!And the cleaning is in seconds-even after long baking, everything is very easy to clean.

Great stewpot, especially for families!
When I received the stewpot, the first thing I could not get over was just how lightweight it was, especially for the size of it. Secondly, I was amazed by just how gorgeous and luxurious looking it is. Neutral and modern, whilst keeping the classic style of stewpots. The handy QR code that is included took me straight to the care instructions and a handful of delicious sounding recipes to test out. I followed the instructions to wash and lightly oil the inside before first use. I tested out one of my family favourites, baked chicken in creamy mushroom sauce. What I am so impressed by is the ability to brown the veg and meat on the hob first without having to use a second pan, as the Tefal air is compatible with most hob tops. The icing on the cake is just HOW easy it is to clean. A quick wipe over with a soapy sponge and it is clean! My only fault is the outside is very delicate, so might not look amazing after a few uses. I have already scratched it getting it out the oven.

Just Perfect!
What an incredibly versatile stew pot. It looks heavy, yet it's incredibly light. It can be used on all heating types including induction. It can even go from the hob into the oven to complete the cooking. I tested it out by making a veggie curry. It has a huge capacity, far bigger than I expected. It is certainly big enough to do a roast in. You would be able to sear the meat in the stewpot beforehand with a little oil and leave it with the lid on to cook. I love how the lid locks in the condensation and prevents your food from drying out so can imagine it locking in the juices when roasting. The only thing to be aware of is that the handles of the stewpot become very hot. You need to make sure you use an oven glove if you need to remove the stewpot from the heat, however the copper lid handle doesn't get hot making it so easy to lift, stir or turn the food inside.

Amazing - Best Stewpot Ever
I was absolutely amazed at how light the Tefal Stewpot was but yet it is very sturdy. Due to the lightness I use this pot daily to make stews or asian cooking such as lamb/chicken. Its made of Cast Aluminium and works in the exact same way as a Cast Iron. It has been great for slow cooking, I made some lamb and It was so tender and the juices infused into the flavour so well that I could taste the difference from cooking in a normal pot. The dark grey colour is almost like a light black and the gold detail of the handle looks lush. I also made a pasta bake and the best thing of all was this stewpot is oven safe so I was able to put this straight into the oven and then straight onto the dining table to serve meaning less dishes to wash. Washing the pot is nice and easy, due to the non stick its smooth to clean. The handles are comfortable to hold but do get hot when cooking so ensure you have gloves to hand.Can easily cook for 4-6ppl. Amazing brand, amazing product definitely worth it.

Very good in all respects
Very good. Good size and very light. For a test roasted a good chunk of pork meat in the oven, turned out very juicy and tasty. Cleaning is very easy after. Quality very good, as you would expect from this brand.

Lightweight but sturdy
I was shocked when this turned up because of the weight of the box. I’ve always thought stew pots were heavy. This one is easy to move from stove to oven when filled with food. I’ve used it three times since receiving it and the quality is still perfect.

Perfect for my Curry!!
I have been on the hunt for a new pan set. I wanted to invest in something that will last and also non stick. This pot is perfect. Not only was it non stick, the size was perfect. My lamb curry turned out so nice and there were no burnt bits at the bottom. What's even better is that it is so light that you don't get a backache just putting it away. I would recommend this pot, Only problem, well not really a problem is that you have to remember the handles do get hot. Apart from that I would say go for it!

Lightweight and extremely durable!
Overall, I love this pan! It is so much lighter than a traditional cast iron pan which makes it so easy to take in and out of the oven. The design is sleek and the grey colour is very trendy and goes with my other kitchen items. If you’re looking for a new casserole dish this is perfect.

Better than Le Crueset!
The first thing that struck me was this thing is light. Not like my mum’s old cast iron pots which you need arms of steel to lift. Even my other half who’s just had AC joint reconstruction could lift it. The non stick properties are phenomenal- nothing was going to weld itself to the side and made for easy peasy washing up too. Was fully expecting the chorizo and tomato to stain the pot and it didn’t. Good heating conduction - food cooker quickly but also was safe to use on my induction hob! Finding good quality cookware that doesn’t screw up the hob is always tricky so it was a pleasure to see that this didn’t. I loved this and will 💯 percent be using again.

But best of all, it’s unbelievably lightweight, without compromising on quality. You won’t believe how lightweight this casserole dish is. It has a special condensation lid which means you don’t lose any of the flavour of your food and meat stays tender and succulent. This casserole dish is extremely versatile. It can be used on any hob type, including induction, as well as in the oven. It’s dishwasher proof but it is also a breeze to hand wash as it has a non-stick coating. We will be using this a lot over the coming months as it’s ideal for slow cooking casseroles, stews and curries over the Winter months.

Absolutely great and sturdy but light
Tefal is a great brand and over the years I have used many of their products, therefore, I had high expectations from this. It certainly did not disappoint. When I took it out of the box I saw immediately that it was much lighter than a cast iron pot of the same size. Colour is absolutely amazing and the lid fit very well on top. I initially used it to cook a chicken and rice dish as this would allow me to use both the gas cooker and the oven. It cooked the dish perfectly in both and was so easy to clean afterwards due to the non-stick ceramic coating. I would not normally buy an oval shaped dish and thought it was a round one which I was getting, however the oval dish was much better to take to the table as you can really make an impression when you remove the lid. All in all, definitely a really good stew pot from Tefal; very light to handle, cooks the food beautifully and so easy to clean. Definitely recommend.
