Glides easily
The Smart Protect Plus FV6872, glides easily is light weight and a pleasure to use. Having previously had a self temperature controlling iron, which I was not particularly impressed by, I was interested to try this product and was not disappointed. I will be recommending this product.

Simply...The Best Iron
Without any doubt this is the best iron that I have ever used. It is as easy as switch on and go and that is a huge plus. It glides effortlessly over all types of fabrics with no need to change temperatures or settings. The steam boost is powerful enough and perfect for curtains and various other hanging garments. The Eco mode is a great addition and does not cause the iron to lose power or performance. The Smart Protect Plus is not too heavy, a perfect weight to feel it is doing its job. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking to replace/update their current model/brand.

Excellent
It was a pleasant experience. Easy to use and not feeling like you have an old block of iron in your hand or a kids toy is a big plus. The shape actually helps when you have those stubborn sleaves. The amount of steam was just right on every setting I've chosen. Overall a really nice product.

Ironing made simple!
I’m not the biggest fan of ironing in general, so anything that makes my life easier is a huge plus in my opinion. I’ve had a couple of weeks to test this iron out and I’ve been wondering where it’s been all my life! The iron heats up really fast, especially with the wattage it has. Glides effortlessly over clothing, the steam feature is great, especially nearing the festive season when you need to steam your suits and smart clothing. As most people right now, I’m quite conscious of bacteria, viruses and germs and it’s great at sanitising materials. P I also live in an area with hard water, so the scale collector was a god send, and really easy to maintain. I’m so happy I was sent this as it makes my ironing sessions so much easier. Thank you Tefal.

Great product once you get used to it
Product looks good and the auto switch off is a really good safety feature. Not having a temperature setting took some getting used to and I’m not sure how confident I’d be ironing an expensive delicate item but in fairness it seems to work…..at least on the items i tried. It irons really well with enough steam to f ok a decent job of work shirts. The only slight grumble is the cord is quite short although probably not more so than other irons but a longer cord would make it a bit more user friendly. Overall I’d definitely recommend this product.

Upon opening the box the iron looks good, i like the design and colour and i liked the idea that you only have one setting for each different fabric. Once i started using it however, it didn't really impress me much. The cord kept Kinking, which made it difficult to iron. The water spray kept dripping and when using it, it didn't get the deep creases out or dry very well after. The clothing that i ironed didn't look as though they had been ironed. Even though it has an eco function, it was quite expensive to run compared to my old iron.

Making ironing simple
This iron automatically adjusts the temperature depending on material. I was sceptical at first as I was expecting it to burn or snag. However I could go from different materials with no burning or sticking, no residual left on the iron. This iron makes ironing my uniforms so much easier and quicker. The heat is sufficient to iron the design makes it easy to fill with water to use the steam function. The iron has a triangle stand too that helps the balance so you don't catch the wire. So impressed with this iron I used this now instead of my previous one.

Nice smart iron
Easy to use, press the clothes nicely, smoothly going, don't need to use any force when ironing. Like the auto-off. Not need to adjust the temperature which make a ironing quicker done.

Tefal iron Smart Protect Plus FV6872
A super intelligent iron selects the right temperature by itself, I do not have to worry about how to set the equipment because the program is intuitive and knows what temperature to choose to iron and not damage the material. Heats up quickly, large water tank. I recommend this iron because of the non-scratchy soleplate. It is light and easy to use. No need to worry if you forget to turn off, because it automatically turns itself off when not working. Great equipment, I am very pleased. I recommend to everyone.

Colour me imPRESSED!
I was very lucky to get this iron to a replace my fir my old one and wow! The steam on this bad boy is next level, it doesn’t drip water, it’s easy to descale and is a joy to use I can use less energy by using eco mode, but the best thing about this is there’s no more guesswork with seeing if the iron is too hot as there’s no dial which is brilliant! It can even go vertical steaming too! I would definitely recommend this iron for anyone after replacement one as it’s just really great, it doesn’t take long to set up and it just does a great job

I am so happy with my new steam iron. It’s so much easier when you don’t need to worry about the temperature program, and can ironing any fabrics at the same time. It’s saving time and the results are amazing. Definitely will recommend to all if my friends

I am REALLY not a fan of ironing "
I am REALLY not a fan of ironing nut this item was lightweight and very quick to get rid of the creases. The iron is not bulky and can manage small clothes (I have a three year old) as well as adult sizes with no problem whatsoever. The auto turn off is also a great feature for those morning times when you are rushing out and think "have I turned the iron off?"
