Sanctuary glow
The bottle was authentically pleasing but product hard to get out pump or spray would be better product itself was un remarkable I am a long time sanctuary user and found thus product did not lice up to the hype

I wanted to love this…
I love Sanctuary Spa products and was looking forward to trying this out. However I didn’t really enjoy using this. It isn’t very moisturising and the three layers of oil separate almost immediately after mixing. So you are standing in the shower constantly shaking the bottle while you apply it. Perhaps a different lid would help application? The fragrance is lovely and warm as expected.

A little goes a long way
When I received this product I did the sniff test first obviously. If it doesn't pass the sniff test then you're not going to want to use it. Luckily it's a beautifully warm sensual scent reminiscent of a high end product. When it got to using it my excitement wavered. After shaking up the bottle I felt the oil dripping through my fingers as I tried to apply it. I quickly figured out it was easier to bring the bottle to me rather than try to use it that way as I felt I was wasting product however a little does go a long way and I didn't lose as much as I thought. Instead I was left with wonderfully moisturised skin with a heavenly scent

Spa sanctuary shower oil
Brilliant product, easy to use. Once I had used my regular shower cleanser, I gave the bottle a good shake and then rubbed it into my skin. After my shower my skin felt wonderful soft.

Great body oil
Great body oil. It really moisturise my skin without feeling greasy. My skin is soft and glowing. There's no oily film on the skin which was surprising. I would recommend this product to my friends.

Ultra hydration
This is the first cleansing body oil I have ever used as I prefer a creamy textured shower product. As far as cleansing goes, I am unsure of the effectiveness of the oil as it did not lather up with either hands, a sponge or puff to massage over the skin. It didn't have a particularly strong fragrance, in fact it barely smelt of anything. On rinsing off it leaves the skin with that waterproof finish you get with baby oil. Like a shower resistant jacket where the water collects in beads and runs right off. Right up to this point I was really no enjoying this product. Then I got out of the shower and bam, ultra hydrated skin from neck to toe. Not greasy or sticky, just smooth and healthy looking. So I am now a convert to the lasting effects of the shower oil but still prefer the fragrance and foaming experience of a shower gel/cream.

Luxury Shower oil
I’ve not used shower oil before but this will now be part of my daily routine. The smell is gorgeous, rich and spicy. I enjoyed the ritual of massaging it in after cleansing and it meant I didn’t need to use moisturiser, which is loads better for my clothes and made my legs softer.

Brilliant
A gentle luxurious body oil infused with the brand’s iconic scent of sandalwood and freesia that hydrates the skin for up to 3-days. In the summer my skin feels tight and dry and this shower oil is brilliant. It made my skin feel really soft, healthy and moisturised. It comes in beautiful packaging you just need to shake and massage in to wet skin to enjoy the luxurious experience of the fragrance that envelopes the body.

Style over substance
I really wanted to love this product but sadly it didn’t do what it said on the bottle! It looks amazing and that’s about it. The smell was unremarkable and it was difficult to apply. You have to shake to mix the contents (which admittedly it’s quite fun) then remove the lid, but then how do you apply with a bottle in one hand and the lid in the other?? Anyway, putting the lid on the floor of the shower I started to apply but before I’d got finished the liquid had separated again. It’s a faff. It did feel quite nice going on but no instructions to how much to apply. After showering I dried myself as normal hoping my skin would feel beautifully moisturised but I was very disappointed. If I had paid for the product I’d feel cheated. I hate writing negative reviews but sadly I had no choice. Lovely packaging but poor product.

The fragrance of relaxation!
Super great product! Perfectly moisturizes, smells great! The skin is not dry even in the morning after an evening bath. The only downside is cleaning the bathtub after using the oil. And you have to be very careful when getting out of the bathtub! My skin has not felt so pampered for a long time..

Works great on dry skin
I suffer with dry skin on my legs and previously had to reduce the frequency I shower to stop them getting to dry. Since using this, I can shower more frequently without drying my skin out. I did find that I had to keep putting the lid on during use to remix it, maybe a flip lid rather than screw on would make this easier.

Beautifully soft skin but…
This product was attractive in its packaging and easy to use. You just shake to combine and massage into skin before rinsing. It smells gorgeous and left my skin silky soft; a softness which lasted all day until my next shower. Here is the but… the consistency is different to what I am used to and, if I’m being honest, I like a lather in the shower from a gel or cream product. This is obviously an oil based product so I didn’t get any type of lather. This is personal preference though and if you are looking for a product which is highly moisturising and nourishing this will do the job. Just don’t expect suds in the shower!

Lovely oil
I really like this oil. It’s very easy to use and rinses off really well. I was worried it would leave my skin greasy but it really didn’t. It just left me with lovely feeling moisturised skin. I also really liked the fragrance. Even my boyfriend said I smelt nice and it’s pretty unusual for him to notice that.

Effectively moisturising shower oil
Sanctuary Spa Golden Sandalwood Natural Oils shower oil smells divine, even after rinsing it off. It's vegan, not tested on animals and 97% of natural origins. The bottle contains recycled plastic and it is, without the cap, recyclable. It does require some work to shake it enough to blend it well and it tends to separate immediately. Also, the cap is not the most useful to open and close in the shower when your hands can contain traces of shower products making it difficult to scroll the slippery cap. In addition, I prefer to use a sponge to wash myself but you need to massage this product on to wet skin in circular motions. All in all, the Sanctuary Spa shower oil is so moisturising and lovely smelling that I could see myself buying it again.
