Dino Mad 4 year old
My 4 year old son is Dino and playdough mad. Put both together and we were guaranteed hours of fun. This kit was excellent for open ended play, no rules, just build, play, squash and start again.

Not worth the money
I was very disappointed with this toy. Imy child was very excited when opening to find out that its not actually very fun. You need two pot of the slime to make the volcano erupt and the effect isn't as expected the slime just clogs at the top of the winder. The dinosaur egg was boring. The kids had fun playing with the slime by itself without the toy itself. Would not recommend. Disappointed in playdoh.

Slime Dino Crew Lava Bones Island
I got this for my older children who are 6+ and they seemed to enjoy it very much. This Lava Island was so much fun. We played for few hours. The set itself seems a high quality and durable plastic that I haven’t seen in other sets. Should stand up to rough play! Cleaning was very easy because the rest of the slime came out with water. This has become a favourite play set recently. Play Doh is always fun!

Lots of fun
My daughter had a great time playing with her island, we had difficulty getting the slime up the volcano first until we realised that you need to put more than 1 eggs worth in it, the little dinosaur was tricky to fill up too and we found that it leaked out from underneath with the pressure from the plunger and we had to leave the island upside down to remove any remaining slime, that being said my daughter (5) had a great time and used figures from other play sets to play in the slime too.

Fantastic present for the kids
Just looking at the front of the box made my child jump in excitement. The box is colourful and vibrant. We found it easy to put together, and it wasn't full of loads of bits which meant my child didn't have to wait long before being able to play with it. The amount of slime that comes with it is perfect. The only thing I would add, is written instructions alongside the pictures.

Play doh dino
Great set for dinosaur fans. High Quality durable plastic, Should stand up to rough play. Cleaning was good with the included clean up piece.The slime was great. Cracking dinosaurs open was fun,surprises in the slime, tiny bones and eyes. Great for learning and development. Simple and fun

Poorly designed
Looks really fun but you can’t really use the slime as described, and the slime is pretty messy. It’s something that the children really wanted to enjoy but couldn’t.

Dino Letdown.
My 5 year old twins were looking forward to trying Play-Doh Dino Crew, as they are big fans of Play-Doh. Toy came in pieces and needed mummy’s help to build. Once erected, slime from the eggs was placed into slots. This was fun and slime was so squishy. The volcano was fed through T-Rex mouth and was bright red and full of bones (including red eyes for Rex). It took quite a few turns to flow out the top of the volcano. It was fun watching them pull out the tiny bones. However if I’m honest it needed an extra slime egg, there was barely enough to fill the pool and have it still flowing down the mountain. The 2nd part was to fill a skeleton of a T-Rex placed in a plastic case. Slime inserted through a Palm tree and case clicked onto a platform. This was a totally letdown. No matter how much we pumped the slime only filled half way up and oozed out the bottom mixing with the red slime. Overall I get the concept and the twins had fun But not value for money like normal Play-Doh.

It's amazing!
My 6 year old daughter absolutely loved playing with this, she's a massive dino fan and she loves slime so this suited her perfectly. The slime wasn't too sticky and was easily put through the volcano, as well as cleaned up. My daughter really enjoyed finding the bones and dino eyes in the slime and was impressed how much slime there was, the orange slime was perfect for the erupting volcano. I liked how you can also use regular play doh with this toy. I would definitely recommend this toy for being easy to assemble and uncomplicated for little ones to play with and enjoy, also the slime was a good consistency, not too messy. My daughter says it's amazing and she gives it ALL the stars!

Great idea but messy
My son enjoyed playing with this but we found the slime very sticky so was hard to make the lava flow properly as we found it just kept going round the spinner. After pulling it down abit it did start to flow and looked really good. The slime didn't fill the dinosaur mould very well with just one tub. We liked the idea of this but maybe more slime included and I'd say less sticky but not sure if that would work.

Fun for kids, nightmare for parents
The Dino slime set is so difficult to rate. My boys (6 and 3 years old) absolutely loved it. They had loads of fun, even by playing with just the slime itself. The wee bones were fun to look for too. If they could, they would play with it every day...but because how messy it gets I genuinely can't be bothered cleaning it every day. The slime is very sticky-you need to be very careful with your clothes as it sticks to it hard. Difficult thing to expect of 2 excited boys. The toy itself doesn't do what it supposed to do. We assembled it according to the instructions and it didn't really hold all the pieces together. Never achieved the explosion either. We managed to get some slime out but it wasn't anything as we expected it to be. I gave 4 stars only because how much my kids liked it. After all, it is a toy for the kids and they love playing with it. I would recommend it only if you don't mind the mess!

Great toy for dinosaur loving kids
Very easy to put together, my six year old did the majority of it as he couldn’t wait for someone to help as he was too excited. He loved finding the eyes and the bones in the slime lava and we played with it for ages! The only down side is the clearing up, slime is messy so I expected it but some slime stayed at the bottom so it took a while to make sure we got it all out and this is the only reason it’s not a 5 star review. Great toy for any Dinosaur loving kid!

Lava slime fun.
Excited to try this as my granddaughter loves Slime and dinosaurs so it seemed perfect. We opened the box and took everything out . I have to say the contents didn’t fully match the instructions which made following it rather confusing- not easy with an excited toddler. We worked out where to put the slime for volcano and after some cranking got the lava flowing- you do need to use both pots for this . The dinosaur part where you fill the skeleton I really could not get to work fully - it never filled the whole way . My granddaughter loved finding the bones in the slime so maybe something doing this would be a good future product. Overall fun but rather a one hit wonder - not sure if she will want to do it again . This makes me question the value for money .

Play-Doh review
My two grandsons Bentley who is 7 and Stanley who is 4 played with this toy. They both thought it was amazing and like Play-Doh anyway but this had the added bonus of the slime which they both absolutely loved. I would recommend this toy to all ages.
