Why did no one think of this before
Ok its a measuring jug, we all have one of those but such a great idea to give it a lid so we can keep safely in the fridge that left over sauce or custard. Brillant and hope they bring out a small version as well.

Just love the lid!
Why didn't anyone think of this sooner!? The lid on measuring jug makes this ideal. Great for storing liquids or butter cream (as I did) in the fridge and it was still as soft the next day. Clear lines for measuring, good size for mixing smaller quantities and microwave use. Like the wider handle, easier to grip and the silicon means it doesn't slip, especially as I can sometimes struggle with grip.

Better than your average measuring cup
The OXO Glass Measuring Cup, with lid, is probably one of the best measuring jugs I have used. The measurements are clear and concise and the pouring lip is neat and tidy with little to no excess dripping. The rubberised handle limits risks the of slippage and the flexible rubber lid nullifies the risk of spillage

Excellent measuring and storage
It's basically a measuring jug yes, but it is great that it also can be used for heating and storage. We used it for the usual things like jelly but also for heating up recipes and then popping in the fridge.

What a fabulous little jug!
Like a lot of people I seem to have accrued a pan drawer full of various size plastic jugs, all of which are in various stages of decolouration and all without lids. What a difference a proper glass jug with a lid makes! This little jug is wonderful, I can re heat liquids in the microwave without splashing everywhere, refrigerate and freeze for later. Even separate my lumpy gravy. Plastic jugs are now consigned to the recycle bin.

Oxo jug. Does what it says on the blurb
I received the oxo Jun and lid to trial and we loved it. We often prepare food in advance but waste stock. This was perfect for keeping it fresh and tasty in the fridge without having to transfer to another vessel. The markings are very clear and easy to clean afterwards. I love this jug after using several previously where markings fade or the glass discoloured.

I didn't realise that you could improve on a jug but OXO just have. The grip on the handle makes it so much more comfortable to use and the lid fits nice and snuggly, feel confident storing in the fridge.

Brilliant!
This jug was perfect. Great quality. The lid kept everything hot and had pouring holes to avoid spillage. The silicone handle stopped the jug getting too hot and provided an excellent grip. The measurements are clear and easy to use. Absolutely great product which I would get again and again. It is now my go to!

Great glass jug. Handle doesn’t get hot in the microwave. Washes well in the dishwasher. The rubber top is great for pouring in under control. Great if cooking with kids or if you have an unsteady hand.

Every kitchen needs one!
An indispensable tool for measuring liquid, the oxo jug is a little wider at the top to my usual Pyrex jug and has a larger lip which means more liquid can safely be poured out without tipping the entire thing. The addition of the rubberised handle is nice, feels much nicer to hold and doesn’t feel like it will slip when holding a lot of liquids. The sole one seal is a nice addition - we generally make our desserts in our jugs and store them away to have the next day - the seal to keep it covered is great. Very good quality would highly recommend.

Loved this - loved that it came with the lid as it made it really easy to then use and store in the fridge. Really sturdy, great for a number of different things. The measuring on the side could be a bit clearer though.

Best measuring cup!
I very much liked its silicon lid, and it pours very well without splitting or leaking anywhere. I literally want to use it for everything! Its great when you have something left over and put in the fridge without changing to another box.

Perfect for storing any leftover gravy!
I love this jug, sometimes I’ll make gravy in it and if there’s some left over i can just store it in the jug with the lid on and pop it in the fridge. No need to use any other good storage containers. Love the fact that the jug comes with a lid, makes life so much easier.

High quality jug with one flaw
The issue: This OXO 500ml measuring jug comes with a black silicone lid which enables you to store liquid hygienically and securely. However, when I received this jug, the lid was “glued” strongly to the inside of the jug, the glue acting as a hinge to opening and closing the lid. I was unsure whether it had been manufactured to be permanently attached here. However, I assume otherwise as it’s too difficult to wash the inside of the jug or stir contents with this attached. I forcibly tore the lid away from the glass and as a result it left black silicone residue on the inside of the jar next to the handle (I’ve attached photos). This is frustrating as I now need to find a non-abrasive way to remove this residue which is stuck on rock hard. Hot water and scrubbing doesn’t remove it and it now risks contaminating food. It looks messy as well. Positives: Putting the above issue aside, the rest of the measuring jug is a high-quality product which has been manufactured very well.
