Good but has it flaws
My OXO Butterfly Mop arrived and I immediately started to use it in great anticipation. It served very well built. The first thing I noticed was that it was not obvious where the locking handle should be during use... You have to 'slightly' unlatch it to get the mop head into the correct angled position... Once I'd figured that out mopping was very easy and cleaned extremely well. Then came washing the mop head itself. I ran it under the hot tap and with a small amount of scrubbing with my fingers all the dirt came off. Great I thought... Then came removing the water.... and here is it's biggest issue. Although moving the locking handle firmly forwards squeezes both sides together, it doesn't squeeze them hard enough. So it leaves quite a lot of water in the sponge backing.... Not ideal. I had to squeeze the two halves together with my hands to get it all out. It was a good effort, let down by the lacklustre water squeezing mechanism, which was a deal breaker for me.

Fantastic
I absolutely love this mop. It's so easy to use and really smooth. It didn't leave any excess water or smear marks on the floor. The rinse action was great, really simple design.

Good for a quick surface cleaning
This mop is good for a quick clean up, it didn’t come with a mop bucket which is a let down to the product and also the sponge didn’t have much power behind it to get tough marks off. The water squeezing function was good and didn’t drip water across the floor

Needs more squeeze
The concept is good, the mechanism to squeeze out the excess water is a good idea but needs to squeeze more of the water out. The general usability is good and ideally for a quick mop round the floor

Excellent Mop
The OXO Butterfly Mop is very good at its job! It’s not too big and bulky and is lightweight to use. Very efficient at squeezing out the excess water and it cleans the floor with ease. Love that it folds flat to keep storage at a minimum too. Would recommend!

A life saver
With the OXO Butterfly Mop you will never have a sore back from bending to wring the mop. You will never need to wear gloves because your hands will not touch dirty water. I highly recommend this life saver.

Good mop

Nothing bad to say about it
As my title says, I have nothing bad to say about it. It cleans well, is SUPER easy to use (you squeeze the sponge bit in one move) and I really like how you can stand it on the little legs (rather than just standing it on the floor)

Better than expected
Initially I wasn’t sure if this was going to suit me as we have two dogs and a young child our kitchen during the winter months is often covered in muddy foot prints so is mopped quite regularly throughout the day. However I have been pleasantly surprised as to how easy this made that. The squeeze handle allows you to drain off sufficient water that it doesn’t leave the floor soaking and risk everyone slipping over or having to exclude anyone for too long when snacks are needed! The mop head is more effective at cleaning than it looks although it would be handy to have a second for when this one needs washing. The mop is not overly heavy and quite easy to move around. It can be tricky if you have awkward corners and not very slimline to fit underneath appliances etc if that’s something you need to be able to do. Overall very pleased with this mop and the usual quality you expect from an OXO product.

Soaking wet floors
The Oxo Butterfly Mop is a good looking mop, with a strong mechanism to squeeze out the water. It is straight forward to use, I dunked it in water with some disinfectant and set to it cleaning my bathroom floor. The actual gliding across the floor action is good and I can get to the corners okay but when it comes to using the mechanism to squeeze out the water, I found I had to do it multiple times and water was still coming out. In fact, not enough water ever did come out and it left my bathroom floor sopping wet. Another negative point to add, is that mine seems to be shedding lots of orange bits. I'm not sure this is because it is the first time using it, but nevertheless doesn't fill me with hope it will not happen again. A real shame as I had high hope for this product.

Won't go back to a normal mop
Really love this mop. I have wooden floors throuout my home and 2 dogs. The head on this mop is not only sturdy enough to scrub off muddy footprints but really easy to use :)

OXO Mop is good
The mop was relatively easy to use and enabled a quick and efficient washing of the kitchen and bathroom floor. The mop is sturdy and has a good handle to help grip. I was slightly confused with one of the settings as there were no instructions for this bit. Will be happy to continue to use this mop.

Amazing mop - just missing a scourer
I loved using this mop .. the only downside for me was that it doesn’t have a scrubber at the top to scour off dried in bits that my kids have left to dry on floor x

Justifies the name Butterfly
The Mop gives exceptional results when comes to cleaning and mopping. The sponge is super absorbent and the butterfly action helps the removal of water and dirt from the sponge thoroughly. Highly recommended.
