To start with didn't find it very comfortable on my back as after wearing for few hours out had back pain so didn't help me at all such a shame it's sturdy but not for me and big bag to be fair that's a plus looks like it will last years so that's a plus

Have used this bag for two hiking trips since i got it - New Forest and Dover. Excellent storage, and very handy to have storage accessible without taking the bag off. Very comfortable for something you're likely to be wearing across the entire day as well. Would recommend this bag.

Amazing bag! Waterproof, light, durable, great for hikes & running too. I had an old rucksack that was tatty, heavy and not great, this is a complete game changer and would recommend to anyone :)

Very good quality. I've got this backbag few weeks ago. Few times went for some nice walk trails around forests and mountains in UK. Comfortable and you can pack loads of stuff. Material is good as well. Definetely worth the price. I can bet it will stay with me for long time.

The Ospray Talon Velocity 30l ,is an exceptional choice for those seeking a versatile durable and comfortable rucksack. It's ample storage,organised compartments and weather resistant and lightweight construction make it suitable for a variety of uses ,for daily commute to outdoor adventures.

I've worked in the outdoor industry, have worn dozens of packs and sold hundreds of Talon/Tempests. The Velocity is a solid addition to Osprey's Range. Like other Talons, it's comfortable, carries weight well and is very adjustable- it's easy to get a good fit with the right know-how. It's a niche bag, however, with its clear running vest influence. I've hiked and run in it, and found that the harness comfortable, close-fitting and nimble feeling, but I appreciate that for the less well-formed, it can fall into the the classic Osprey trap of being an impenetrable mass of straps. It doesn't bounce much when running, which makes it a great option for fast-packing or for the races like the OMM. That being said, the harness system will limit it for many- it can looks intimating, and it wouldn't be my first choice for anything with a harness- I'd rather a classic Talon or my Mutant for that. The colour is classic Osprey- bright, bordering garish, and for that price, I'd expect a rain cover.

This rucksack is perfect for a day of walking. 30L and plenty of utility pouches and zips to fit all your walking necessities. Only thing I’d change is the lid, would prefer a zip and not a hook system but other than that faultless!

I have used this pack for trail running cycling and hiking. It's very adjustable to allow maximum comfort even with a lot of weight in the bag. I also like the storage compartments which are abusable without taking the bag off your back. The large pockets on the straps are brilliant for storing a waterborne which you can drink whilst it is stored.

I measured my back length and ordered a large size accordingly. It fit perfectly after I adjusted the top and bottom straps. The bag is well fitted with straps and pockets, and it carries weight comfortably.

The Opsrey backpack is great for outdoor hiking and adventures. We took it on holiday with us and helped carry our daily dog walking essentials and ours. You'd be suprised how much you can actually fit in it! The quality is very high as you would expect from this brand. There is plenty of storage for smaller items like money or keys and drinks. It is very comfortable to wear thanks to the back support system which I found is perfectly designed to match the natural shape of the human spine. There are clever little features such as the built in whistle on the front brace clip, perfect for calling the dog back or essential for mountain hiking if you find yourself needing help. The material easily keeps out the weather and has a pullover cover at the top which easily clips onto the bag. This will definitely be put to good use in the many years to come.

I have had osprey bagpacks in the past so I am aware of the quality of them, and this was no different. An excellently made bag with support and adequate strapping. I actually use the bag for when I'm on my motorbike for all my essentials for work and it works a treat. Enough space but not too bulky and the chest straps to secure the bag. There are also multiple pockets which are good for phones, bottles, keys etc. Very happy and would purchase from Osprey in the future

This is pure quality at its best with loads of space and everything is well thought out, its very comfortable and lightweight and has a sleek design so it looks the part too, overall an amazing product.

The osprey talon is an an incredibly comfy bag that because it’s fitted to me is perfect for hiking. I have used it to climb munros in and also on several DofE practice expeditions and it has not let me down. The new release system at the opening is different to start with but once you get used to it, it quick and easy to use. Overall the bag fits perfectly and has an incredible back support system that makes the back sit properly and helps with air flow.

First of all I would like to thank home tester club for sending me the back pack to test. It was packed nicely and carefully. When I opened the opened the back pack and it had alot of space to put in multiple items. Also it's very lightweight to carry. Overall it's a very good product if you go hiking/ climbing or camping. The color was very nice aswell.

Slightly weighty but makes up with comfort. Straps and numerous adjustments mean the pack feel it's part of you. Top opening could be better at keeping water/rain out. All in all, an excellent fastpack and easily recommended.
