Refreshing and vitalising
I usually use an aftershave gel so was skeptical using a balm. I followed my normal routine and shaved using foam then washed my face ending using this balm. The consistancy is not runny and not thick, it is easy to get the right amount from the bottle, there is no getting too much or too little. After rubbing into my freshly shaved neck and cheeks they felt so refreshed. There was no sting, no rubbing, no chaffing and no chemical smells. I felt rejuvinated and energised.

Refreshingly Scented
The scent, texture and feeling it gave were all positive for me. It stops your skin feeling dry. The bottle is of good quality but I feel the cap could be better. All in all a very good product.

Good post-shave balm and moisturiser
I've sensitive skin and burns after every shave but balm makes it very disappear as soon as I apply it to my face. I live the fragrance if it as it is not a very strong but very mild and moisturise my skin without leaving any stickiness. I've been applying this daily now after daily face wash routine and I can see my skin looks fresh and less tired.

Great smelling aftershave balm!
I have been very pleased with NIVEA Men Skin Energy Balm and would most definitely recommend it as a product. First off, I would like to say how amazing it smells and I have already had comments from my partner! The product keeps me moisturised for the day and and is not sticky or greasy. It has actually encouraged me to try and shave once a day because of how cool and soothing it feels on my skin. Whereas before I would just be shaving once a week. My only criticism of the product is the lid and wonder if it could be adapted to make it easier to get it out. I have probably wasted a little bit by trying to tip it out and then overpoured. A more squeezable design would limit wastage but I am also aware that this design may not be as environmentally friendly and I am a big advocate for being environmentally friendly.

I have used NIVEA Men Skin Energy Balm for a couple of days after shaving and my skin feels smoother and mositurised and it also shows. The masculine fragrance is also pleasant and adds tom quality of this product.
