NIVEA Hydro Care Lip Balm

I’ve tried the lighter lip balm before, a while ago and wasn’t sure. Seeing there were a few changes, I felt it was worth another chance. However. . . I’ve found it gives off a strange taste that tickles the back of my throat and creates quite an irritation. It does protect my lips, but not sure it lasts 24 hours. Love Nivea and only buy the original lip balm, but wouldn’t buy this again I’m afraid. Natural or not, just didn’t do it for me. Sorry Nivea!

I like the smell and feel of the lip balm on my lips. It provides a good amount of moisture and keeps your lips moist for a while. I prefer a different lip balm, just personal choice.

Goes on smoothly leaving lips feeling moisturised, Nivea products are my favourite. Protection against the cold and windy weather. Can there be any improvements to be made, I would say no.

It moisturises my lips well! And i love that niviea is a affordable brand so I would definitely get again but the only reason it's not 5 starts is because I feel it leaves a thick layer of your lips so be sure to not put it on thick

Absolutely Fantastic item. Really moisturising, I came down with a cold part way through testing this product and always get dry lips, using this instantly moisturised lips so no cracked sore lips.

Glides on my lips. Makes them feel soft and sliky last for a while but you do need to reapply. Great for cold mornings to help protect against the wind as well when cycling.

This lip balm is very good. I’ve tried a few similar products, and this is one if the best in the category. The stick works well. The consistency is good. It moisturises my lips very well. There is no smell to the product.

This is a very lightweight and hydrating lip balm. Doesn't feel heavy on your lips at all, has a nice, subtle scent and keeps them feeling soft and moisturised for hours.

Nivea is a lovely lip balm. It just glides on the lips and moisturises for a long time. I like the fact that once applied lips feel plumper and nourished for hours.

Having tried this lip balm i'm really impressed. It had a lovely soft creamy texture and was easy to apply (even when the tube was really cold). It moisturised my lips without making them feel clogged or greasy and the spf was a bonus. It would be great if it also came in flavors and tinted options. Will definitely be buying this in the future.

A nice Smelling smooth applying lip balm which isn't too sticky. I used it on a long shift in a hospital. They have just started putting the heating on which is notorious for drying my lips out. I did have to reapply every couple of hours. I felt that it didn't last as long as it could have done which is why I dropped one star.

having been away my lips needed some extra moisture and the nivea lip balm couldnt have landed at a better time ,with hours of useing it ,my lips felt much more hydrated

Very good. It's formula is not heavy and although it's got shea butter in it you can't smell it which I was grateful for as I can't stand it. The write up says it instantly melts on you lips, it doesn't but it's not sticky like some lip balms are. Would definitely use it again W

This NIVEA lip balm states it has a new improved hydrating formula and promises 24 hour moisture for your lips. Complete with SPF 15, it uses natural origin ingredients plus the cardboard packaging is recyclable. It is definitely creamy and leaves a luscious coating on the lips with an unexpected, but fresh taste of watermelon. The balm twists easily in the tube, and has not gone soft when carried in my pocket - very promising! However, the creamy, generous coating is not lasting and I am having to reapply frequently as they feel so dry - so either the promised moisture isn't absorbing in as expected, or this product is drying my lips out - I asked my daughter to try it and she had the same response. Personally, I would say if you are a frequent user will really dry lips then this may not be the best option, but definitely great for casual use. I also did the recommended lip scrubs before applying to see if it would make a difference with absorbency, but honestly it really didn't!
