Makes your skin more sensitive

I’ve never used retinol boost cream before so was excited to give it a try, unfortunately it’s not suitable for me. The bottle is pretty solid and quite heavy considering it’s only 50ml. There is a warning that you may experience redness, tingling or flaking and that this is normal and only temporary, but it’s still not a pleasant sensation and despite this I still continued with it for a few weeks. I always use sun protection day moisturiser, so continued with that as usual. Maybe it was because I was trying it for the first time at the wrong time of year, in the summer and when I was spending a lot more time outside in the sun than normal, but it felt like it made my skin a lot more sensitive and prone to damage from the sun.

Smells and feels great

Absolutely love the scent on this product. I feels like a real cream. It’s non greasy and soaks in quickly. It feels luxurious. I cannot comment yet on its effectiveness on wrinkles etc- I need more use

Highly recommended!!!

I always love Neutrogena skin care products and so happy to try this. Used for about 2 weeks now after my morning cleansing routine and I love it. The product is white and has light consistensy so absorption is really quick especially on my dry skin. Easy to apply and dispense- I squeeze it right on my forehead and cheeks and spread with my finger tips. Amazing how 1-3 tiny drops covers the whole of my face and neck. It spreads really well. I use it after my favourite serum. So lightweight. Skin feels soft and lovely instantly. Will be using this hoping to help reduce and avoid dark pigmentation. Great that it has SPF so I don’t worry about extended exposure when I am not wearing a proper sun block.

Perfect product

I fell in love with this cream. This is an absolute hit. After the first few uses, you can see a huge difference. My skin looks nourished, rested and shiny after the night. I recommend this cream to all my friends. I think absolutely everyone should try it.

Great first retinol experience

I am pleasantly surprise with this product after worrying (a lot) about adding retinol into my regime. The texture is really nice and soft and feels really nice on application, after a few uses I did notice that my complexion was really glowing and my skin felt softer to touch. I haven’t had any kind of irritation which is something I have heard a lot about retinol. I think this is a great first step into adding retinol and as my skin gets used to it I will introduce higher strengths

Superb

I have been using the cream for a month now. First and foremost, the packaging looks sophisticated and sleek in a grey toned bottle with a pump. I like the ease of use with a pump applicator. It allows me to dispense the right amount of product. The product formula is smooth like a lotion not heavy like a cream. I therefore like it’s hydrating consistency. There is no smell it has a subtle fragrance but it’s not over- empowering. Having used it for a month, I did notice an improvement in my skin within two weeks. My skin felt softer, smooth and texture had reduced. It will take a while to see any improvement in wrinkles or fine lines but I will continue to use this as I love the results I have benefited from so far! Overall it’s a product worth using as Retinol has many anti ageing benefits. I am excited to see how my skin looks in a few months.

Amazing scent

This is one of my new favourites. Very affordable but feels luxurious and more expensive! Really love the scent, it's not too overpowering for a relaxing bed time cream. I will be buying this again and have recommended it to my mum. Lovely consistency, not too thick and soaks in easily.

Love it big time

So I was a little reluctant to add retinol to my skincare pm regime. However, to my surprise this product proved to hush away my fears of retinol being a bit harsh on skin initially. I was pleasantly surprised to see how my skin was elastic, bright and instantly hydrated. I love it and definitely going to add it to my skincare routine. It is surely a keeper

Neutrogena Retinol Boost Night Cream

A boost indeed. Not sure it's ideal for dry or sensitive skin, but it does what it says and it's quite intense in its action. I've tested this boost for 4 weeks, I don't have sensitive skin but as expected my skin initially reacted with some redness to the new product. I had only to reduce the quantity of product to get my skin used to it and enjoy the results. After 4 weeks, I can see my skin looks brighter, my forehead is smoother and my eye area looks healthier. I love the creamy texture, light and fresh on skin, easy to absorb without greasy nor sticky feeling.

Lovely product!

I’ve really enjoyed introducing this retinol night cream into my regime, it feel really light and hasn’t given my skin any irritation. So far I haven’t seen any results but will continue to use and see how it benefits my skin.

Great product

I have previously used serums containing retinol but not got on with them. They dried out my skin and gave me spots. However, this is a game changer! My skin looks amazing! It is a lovely creamy texture without being thick. It goes on really smooth and smells lush! Within the first week I could see then changes in my skin and after using consistently for 4 weeks my skin is looking clearer and brighter.

Amazing

I absolutely love this cream. It not only smells great, but a little bit goes a long way. It's none greasy and absorbs quickly so you don't need to worry about it going on your sheets at bed time. I'm not sure how much is reduced my lines but I'd probably still use it as a night cream.
