Decent effect but SPF 15 isn't enough!

This Neutrogena retinol boost cream comes in a lovely bottle, with twist close pump lid, which keeps the retinol from oxidising. It sinks in smoothly without feeling greasy. I didn't find it particularly hydrating but I have dry-normal skin, and I think this would suit anyone with normal or combination skin quite well. I didn't find it irritating and it's done a great job at evening out my skin tone and making my skin more firm. My biggest concern is that it only contains SPF 15, which is wholly insufficient for a retinol containing product. I used a hydrating SPF 50+ cream on top which was perfect for the giving extra moisture and the added sun protection. It's a great way of adding retinol to your routine without having to layer serums and moisturisers in the morning. Overall, I'd recommend only if you were going to use extra suncream on top!

Excellent

Good size product. Easy to dispense and dispenses a fair amount. Spread well over the skin, was lightweight and aborbs quickly into the skin without leaving much of a residue. My skin is more clearer, brighter and more even and has helped with fine lines looking more reduced. Would definately recommend.

Unsure

I was really looking forwards to testing this product as I have heard how amazing retinol based creams are. After using for 3 weeks i actually think that fine lines are more visible. Feels nice on the skin and absorbs well but can sting if placed near eyes.

Nice product

Absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling soft. It has a nice smell and I like that it has SPF in it although I do put extra SPF on top. I haven't seen a major difference in my skin but I do like the product

Met my expectations!

I have used retinol products in the past and was unsure how well it would work combined with a moisturiser. I found it to be much gentler than retinol on its own although still important to use SPF when using any retinol products. It dispenses well from the bottle and absorbs quickly into my skin without feeling greasy. I can’t yet say that it’s had a significant effect on the overall appearance of my skin but it has helped it to feel more moisturised and is a product I’ll continue to use.

Creamy deliciousness

I love this retinol as it's kind to skin, has vitally important spf built in and goes on rich and silky then melts into skin leaving it plumper and more hydtated

Not overly impressed

I was pleased to receive a retinol product however I’m not overly impressed. It was easy to apply and soaked in well but I found that if I rubbed my skin later in the day bits of the cream would peel off. I didn’t notice too much difference, also I think I would prefer a night time cream instead.

Great daily retinol

Really impressed by this product! It goes on really well and feels light on the skin! My skin has made a noticeable improvement, I have even had comments from other about it looking brighter. It has a small amount of UV protection too which is great. The bottle is a great size also.

Now a Day Cream fan!

I have used this Pro-Retinol day cream from Neutrogena for 4 weeks now and I have noticed such a difference in my skin. The product is in smart looking bottle with a pump action, which makes it simple to use. The consistency of the cream is very light and soft and is quickly absorbed into the skin. You do not need a much of product - a little goes a long way. The cream smells very pleasant and is not overpowering like some creams. It also has a sun protection factor of 15 SPF which I believe is a must for day cream. I used two pumps of the cream every single day for four weeks. There is still a fair amount left which I am impressed by. I shall continue to incorporate this into my daily skincare routine. My skin looks, and feels, noticeably healthier and much improved.

Lovely cream

Nice light cream. Fast absorbing. Perfect as makeup base. Strong smell but I like it , it doesn’t bother me. Will keep using it and will definitely recommend it to my friends .

Exactly what I needed

Good quality ingredients!!!

Loving the results from this Neutrogena Retinol cream. It leaves a tingly feeling which gives me assurance that it's doing great job. Very easy to apply because it has attached pump. Lightweight texture very quickly absorbing into the skin. Really recommend!!!
