Not such a quick snack
Took this to work for my half hour lunch break as I thought it would be a quick snack to have and like other pot or mug products be ready in a few minutes , unfortunately I was wrong ...to get the pasta to its proper consistency it had to be left for about 8 minutes ...trying it before that time you were just eating crunchy raw pasta. The flavour however was okay ...definitely creamy but slightly lacking as a Carbonara flavour

Smells lovely!!
I recieved this sample from @hometesterclub to use in my home or at work. I just made it & the smell is lovely. It tastes really nice. Only 2% fat & only 252 calories, so its well worth buying. I have 1 tip for these mug shots when pouring the water make sure the water is boiling. The reason for this is i made a chicken & mushroom version & parts stayed a touch dry, even when stiring it properly. Other than that just yummy!!

Not far off wallpaper paste....
Huge fan of a carbonara so was excited for this. However followed the instructions 9n the packet and unfortunately was left with something that resembled lumpy wallpaper pastein both look and taste. The noodles were gooey the sauce was lumpy and sticky. I tried more hot water and it just got worse. Over all not impressed

A bit lacking in flavour
I took this to work to have for lunch. It was easy to prepare, and the consistency was okay. It appeared quite creamy but it lacked seasoning, and was quite bland. Once I added salt and pepper it tasted better and it was fairly filling. I have used mug shots in the past and they are all edible, but average in taste.

Not to mug shots usual standards
When I added the hot water it thickened up To what look like a lovely sauce, however ever I found it verj tasteless and it took a long time for the pasta to soften.

Not like what's on the packet at all!!
The sauce was very hard to get to a consistency that I could eat, it was very creamy and thick. Only found one tiny piece of ham in it too, so nothing like what it looks like on the front of the pack. And despite being very low down on the list of ingredients, the black pepper left a lasting effect, in fact I can still taste it!

Lovely lunch
Working long days I sometimes struggle with what to pack for lunch. I took this mug shot and had this and wow it was so nice. So much nicer than the original standard flavours of mug shot. I did add a little salt and pepper it that’s just my preference as I add that to everything and it probably didn’t need it. Will definitely be buying these agai .

Tasty pasta
Quick and convenient pasta, great for a hasty lunch in work. Typical package with clear instructions, very easy to prepare. On opening I thought it smelled exactly like a bowl of carbonara! I allowed it to soak a bit longer in the boiled water and it was really creamy and quite tasty. I really enjoyed it and would buy again.
