Fun and Unique!
This Lego HipHop Robot Beatbox is a fantastic concept from Lego. Its colourful design is certainly eye catching and exciting. This fun and interactive product was very easy to set up with the installation of an app. My child absolutely loves to dance and enjoys listening to music so this provided ample time to dance. It also gave the opportunity for my child to direct, produce and become a star of their own music video, a very exciting opportunity for any child to enjoy. My child thoroughly enjoyed playing with the robot mini figure, using the microphone and creating a movie. My child had hours of fun and it is a great lockdown game that can be enjoyed with friends. My child stated it was fun and great to play with friends and dance. I would highly recommend this to those who are looking for a product for their child that provides hours of fun and is creative and unique.

Lego Vidiyo Interactive Toy.
I was very intrigued to see what this new concept from Lego would entail. The figure and stage was easy to build for the age of my child and the app was straight forward and easy to install. My child was very excited to see the figure they’d built come to life on the mobile phone. A fun and interactive little toy for younger children.

Hi ho hooray
I gave this to my 11yr old daughter to trial as she is down with the kids. The minifigure is great very detailed and colourful captureing the futuristic DJ. The build is straightforward and relatively simple taking only a couple minutes, but it feels very expensive for all there is, but is up to lego usual quality and she liked having a studio setting to act out. The app however is were we hit problems, she has a relatively up to date Android phone but we could not get it fully working due to needing the Arcore app which is not avaliable in all phones so do check this fully before purchase. She likes the concept and will be experimenting to create her own music and styles, how long this will keep her interested is another matter ofc Overall a good concept and product, marred by issues with getting the app working.

Hip Hop Awesome
What a fabulous product my youngest daughter was so excited when it arrived,it was nice and easy to set up and the app was nice and straightforward once we had it all set up it was time for lights, camera and action lots of laugher and fun when recording videos even my eldest daughter got involved we have had so much fun with it and I highly recommend.

Overall a very good product.
It was relatively easy to build and the instructions were clear. There was one piece missing but it didn’t affect the overall look when built. It was very fun to build and there was a selection of ‘records’ so you can change it up if and when you want to. There is a tool included for prying the Lego pieces apart if you put one in the wrong place which was great as it can be fiddly with the small parts sometimes. I love how you can store the ‘records’ inside the Lego and put the everything in a little case together which has a handle making it easy for storing or travelling. You can also download the app and create music videos on the app, customise your character, create your own band, connect with other people and much more. There is a large selection of music, effects, etc on the app and it tells you which characters you have collected and which you still need to collect. Overall a very good product with many uses. Perfect for a lockdown present as it will certainly keep you busy.

Not for me
App takes a long time to load and involves quite a lot of downloads and memory. Found it quite fiddly to use and more hassle than it was really worth. For avid Lego and music fans this would probably be worth the effort, but not for me. Did enjoy building the Lego though!

Pretty awesome Lego set
My daughter absolutely loved this! She loves music and dancing so was perfect for her. With the app you download you can play with friends! She had such fun creating videos and adding her favourite music to it. You scan your beat boxer and select the background and it appears in 3D in your room in your house! My younger son had amazing fun with it too and found it very funny to see the Lego figure dancing around the living room. Obviously with the app it does mean screen time and I think children have had a lot of screen time lately due to the pandemic and home schooling but at least this is a fun way of using screen time and gets them up and moving dancing song with the figure. Only down side my daughter found was the step by step instructions weren’t overly clear to building the base of the box, she had to guess the parts from the completed picture but it didn’t take her long. Over all I would definitely recommend this for the fun factor and getting the kids up dancing!
