My dog wasn't keen
My Lhasa apso has a sensitive stomach and hence has a diet with specific needs. I thought at first this would be great for him but sadly not. The food inside is solid, it's very hard to get out of the tin and trying to mash it up is hard work especially when you have arthritis in your hands. My dog sniffed it, had a taste and walked away....he wasn't keen on it at all. The left over tins I'm going to give to the local cat and dog shelter see if any of their animals will enjoy it.

Great dog food for sensitive stomach
My dog has this food when she had kennel cough and was being sick and having diarrhoea. It helped her a lot and she really enjoy it! It’s a little pricer per tin but is worth it when it helps her feel better and she enjoys it

Vet recommendation
We were recommended to use this temporarily while my dog recovered from a brief period of illness that had left her with a sensitive stomach. This doesn't look like normal dog food; it's a much drier consistency and is almost gritty, like rice but my girl absolutely inhaled it, licking the bowl clean after every single meal. She's always been an enthusiastic eater but there was no reduction in her level of enthusiasm or interest despite this being a low fat option too. I trust that Hill's prescription foods are backed by thorough research and development with the recipe being carefully formulated. I do however find this somewhat pricey, especially if you have a larger dog and are intending to use this in the longer term.

impressive
nearly as good as their standard tin , I actually thought it was their standard mix as I'd recently tested their Science plan light for my dog and he really liked that one , he really liked this digestive care one too - but only because it's lighter and he could eat more , it does what it says on the tin - my doggie highly recommends
