Heinz Spaghetti Carbonara

This really wasn't for me didn't like the taste at all won't buy again

I recently tried Heinz Spaghetti Carbonara, and while it was convenient, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The portion size was decent for a quick meal, and the sauce had a creamy texture, but the flavour felt a bit bland. It lacked the richness I associate with a proper carbonara – it could’ve done with a stronger cheese and bacon taste. The pasta itself was cooked well, not too soft, which I appreciated, and the fact that it can be ready in minutes is ideal for a quick lunch or snack. However, the overall taste didn’t feel as satisfying as I’d hoped, and I found myself adding extra seasoning to give it more flavour. In terms of convenience, it's hard to beat, but if you're after an authentic carbonara experience, this might fall short. It’s handy to keep in the cupboard for a quick, no-fuss meal, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a proper Italian-inspired dish.

I found this product is exactly what you expect. It is a pasta in a tin for quick cooking and quick meals. The pasta is just like the usual heinz spaghetti strands or macaroni cheese. It is very soft and mushy however that is what is expected of this food. The flavour was not exactly to my liking however my partner really enjoyed it as they do with the macaroni cheese.

Carbonara is my favourite Italian dish. This is nothing like real carbonara unfortunately. It has a strange texture, is too ‘cheesy’ and leaves a strong chemical aftertaste. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Not a fan of this. It tastes not nice at all

Yuk,pasta in a tin, awful thin tasteless sauce and too soft pasta, the kids said it was like sludge, not a fan of this at all I will stick with "proper Al dente".
