Great for most illnesses
Calpol infant is great for all children under 6 years old. Whether its a cold or teething medical related issues calpol alwya seems to help in aiding children in terms of sickness distress. Up to 4 times a day..every 4 hours. The purple liquid bring sugar free taste better than most medicines and sugar free is a bonus. Great for kids teeth. Also the handy tube is great for measuring each dose and inserting into children's mouths safety.

Does what it's supposed to
The CALPOL Infant Suspension Sugar Free does what it's supposed to - it takes down temperature quickly, helps with tooth growing pains and in the case I've used it - helped my 2 year old nephew recover fast from a vaccination. It's sugar free, which is super and it has a mild flavour that seems to go down well with kids.

But I wanted to be a space man
Our son had a high temperature of 39 degrees whilst suffering with tonsillitis. Being only 4 and suffering a lot with his tonsils we always have calpol at hand. Trying to keep the childrens teeth healthy whilst having to give medication is important so we tried the sugar free variety. My son took the sugar free version as good as normal he didn’t complain about the taste which I was slightly expecting but to be honest he only said that it gave him a little cough and tickle on his throat but that could have just been his tonsils. It brought down his temperature within 30 minutes and he was said he wasn’t aching as much. He even played with some of his toys for quite some time. Overall I would say that there was no difference in the way the sugar free version worked, it tastes the same to my children and we will be buying the sugar free version from now on.

Great for fever and pains
I used Capol Infant sugar free several times when my toddler had fever or discomfort due to cold symptoms. It works well and the symptoms were relieved within half an hour. Plus she loves the taste! I actually need to hide it as she would want it all the time :). It's really good it's sugar free as I can give it to her just before bed or during the night.

Great for colds, coughs and teething!
This is my savour for when my boys are poorly, it’s great that I can use it on both my 1 year old and 4 year old. Wether it’s teething, coughs or colds it’s always making my boys back to their normal cheeky selfs. The added bonus that’s is sugar free meaning no hyper children!

Does the job
I recently used this for my son who had toothache. On first appearances the box design was simple and calming giving reassurance that this is a trustworthy product that is safe for children. The dosage on the box was easy enough to read and understand. I personally like the way you load the syringe up with the required dosage using the bottle as it stops sticky messes. However I could see some people preferring to use a spoon and it would be difficult to use a spoon with this bottle. My son loved the taste so took the medicine no problems. The medicine really seemed to help him and worked effectively. Overall I would definitely use again given that my son was happy taking the medicines so no battles and that it worked so well for him.

Useful for teething & infant vaccines
I've used Calpol for both my baby's vaccinations and for her teething. It's quick and effective with the dosage on the bottle and box makes it easy for parents. A syringe comes with the bottle for effective dosage, however if you have a small baby they may find the syringe is too big for them to take the medicine. The medicine is sticky like most medications and although I can't comment on the taste, my baby must like it as she grabs the syringe and sucks the calpol from it. Will continue to use this brand for infant paracetamol.
