Bulldog Skincare Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel

I recently tried the Bulldog Skincare Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel, and my experience has been a bit of a journey. When I first used it, I was immediately hit by the strong scent of black pepper. Honestly, it was overwhelming to the point of being off-putting, and I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy using it again. The peppery scent was so intense that it overshadowed everything else, leaving me questioning whether this was the right choice for me. However, I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad I did. By the second use, the black pepper note seemed to mellow out. It became less overpowering, allowing the other notes, like the earthy vetiver, to come through more distinctly. As the scent profile balanced out, I started to appreciate the complexity and richness of the fragrance. The gel also lathers well, leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed without drying it out. I absolutely love the smell the shower gel leaves on my skin after I have showered, the shower gel has a strong peppery smell which I absolutely love as it makes my skin feel nice, clean and refreshed. I would absolutely purchase this item and would highly recommend it too.

Great shower gel that leaves you feeling warm with a nice woody scent. Don't have to use a lot to get a good lather, left skin feeling fresh and smooth after each use. Would recommend this product.

Overall a great product. It has an excellent, long lasting smell. It lathers really well so a little bit goes a long way.

This smells amazing and works well, I feel clean after using it, but I find I have to use quite a bit of it to get a decent lather to wash with, even if using a loofah or something.

I really love the smell of this shower gel. It smells very high end! The black pepper is perfectly spicy and you can smell it on your skin all day. Lathers up nicely and leaves you feeling wonderfully clean. Definitely recommend.

The bottle is quite generous and will probably last a while as a little goes a long way, so definitely getting your moneys worth. Lathers nicely, cleans well and I really liked the earthy warm fragrance.

To be fair I had average expectations as Bulldog is not a brand I’d normally purchase however I was pleasantly surprised. The gel consistency is thick and smells great. The lather isnt overbearing but could have been more than it was. My personal view is this product is good but needs a few adjustments to get 4 stars.

The shower gel smells wonderful, and leaves you feeling clean and fresh. It has a great fresh earthy smell and it leaved you smelling good after a nice shower.

This product doesn't feel cheap when used, it creates a nice clean feeling on the skin when used and the scent lasts a while once out of the shower. It also made my bathroom smell nice afterwards!

Feel very refreshed after using this after a hard day's work. Smells fresh and you feel clean after using it.

It was very moisturising but the scent was too subtle for me. It cleaned very well and left my skin smooth and silky but would have liked a stronger scent when using. It did leave me calm and relaxed after use.

First impressions was the smell. It smells really nice, the vetiver comes through strong with pepper in the background. Secondly it's lovely and thick and feels really soft and luxurious when applying. I'd definitely get this again!

I recently tried the Bulldog Skincare Vetiver. Scent: The Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel has an earthy and warming scent. It’s not overpowering but leaves a pleasant aroma after the shower. Lathering: While it doesn’t produce a thick lather, it still gets the job done. Not a deal-breaker for me.
