Made my beard really soft

Essence of Barbers shop.
The first time I used BullDog Original Beard Balm all I could imagine was a proper smell of the barbers as the smell takes me there in a good way. The Beard Balm was easy to use and the first time I applied just a little and found it goes a long way with a wonderful smell which isn't overpowering and it left my beard felling soft and smooth. This is a reasonable beard balm. The fragrance is alright, certainly not offensive but not something I'd be excited about. It feels nice and is easy to apply. It doesn't provide a particularly good hold though.

For long beard?
I have short and thick hair on beard and the balm for me did not make much difference. I guess it works better with long beard to shape or nourish. There should be an option as "may be" in Would you recommend this product to a friend? Would you buy this product again question.
