Cough syrup
This was a good cough mixture for a chesty cough. Helps to clear chest of mucus and added bonus of honey and lemon for taste and natural antibacterial effect.

The taste is amazing

Soothing syrup

The perfect relief
Finally a product that can ease a mucus cough- this medicine tastes good and really eases my cough when I’m feeling unwell. I would highly recommend it and would definitely try the other Benylin products if needed

Hoped for more
So I tried this whilst I was suffering from an adult version of croup according to my gp( didn’t know adults could even get croup). It did help soothe my throat ache a little but it didn’t do anything to help break down my cough. Had to use my usual cough syrup for that.

Really helped my sore throat
This really helped my sore throat and kicked in quickly. I didn't really like the taste or texture, but as far as cough syrups go it wasn't too bad. I will definitely use again next time I have a sore throat.

Works well, not a huge fan on the taste
I have always loved Benylin but I was not a huge fan of the taste of this one but it certainly did help with my cough thankfully. It was quick to loosen the build up on my chest and I was able to breath again quite normally within a really short amount of time. I have tried several other brands over the years and I can honestly say this worked quicker and was not anywhere near as foul tasting as some I have tried. But just wish it tasted like the Benylin I remember from my childhood (the cherry, but then I would probably have gone through several bottles of that quite easily.

Great addition to home 1st aid cupboard
It’s trusted brand. It won’t take the cough away completely but it helps relieve the symptoms. It’s useful to have at home especially during the flu/cold season

Basic but okay
I felt this was okay but I wasent overjoyed with it, the taste was too sweet and was hard enough when feeling poorly then having this to try and great down quite sickly, but I did improve quicker so if you can put up with it and keep it down it definitely works
