Great paste
This is my go to brand for harissa paste. Despite the three chilies heat rating, I don't find this has an overbearing heat and just adds a nice spice level to my Moroccan dishes.

Hotter than own brand. Not
I like this better than powdered spices when I’m cooking as it’s easy to make into a paste to coat something like halloumi. It’s got a deep and rich flavour to it. It’s quite a hot one compared to the supermarket own brand I’ve tried. When I’m cooking for the kids I use the powdered version as it’s more mild than this.

This affordable product offers a great flavour. I use it often to add a bit of spice to recipes, and it's my preferred brand over others on the market

Nice enough, good value for money
I've tried quite a few brands of harissa paste and the Al'fez does add a good amount of flavour and a bit of heat to your dishes, but lacks some of the complexity I've come across in other brands. However it is available for a good price for the size of the jar, and is cheaper than a lot of others.

One of my favourite products!
I use this a couple times a month and I love it! Fry up some onion and garlic with fennel and cumin seed, then mix the harissa paste with some honey. Paste the onion mix and harrissa honey mix onto some salmon fillets, bake and serve with lemon and harrissa giant cous cous! A winner.

A staple!
We love Al'fez's Harissa paste, athough it is not as hot as they claim. It is great with vegetables, on meat or just mixed with mayo for a kick in sandwiches and on salads. Would recommend!

A little goes a long way
Really enjoyed adding the paste. We had been looking for something to give a more authentic kick to meals and by adding a tiny bit it adds real depth and flavour to a wide mix of meals

Not that hot!!
This is nice enough and gives a nice flavour mixed in with other things, goes great with chicken. It's not as hot as it claims though and a bit expensive for such a small size.

Great for flavour
Got this to try in a Harissa chilli recipe I found and it gave it an amazing flavour! Definitely has a kick to it but I’ve used it in all sorts since, goes great with red meat and is easy to stir a spoonful into soups and stews!

Good to keep in the fridge
I've had a jar of this on the fridge for a while. It goes great with lamb and beef. I add a spoonful to Moroccan style stews or to fried lamb mince to go in pitas. Only downfall is its not as smoky as o think a harissa paste should be. It's also not at all spicy

harissa flavour
This harissa is ok unfortunately not the best in the market but also not too much on the pocket compare to the nicer one

A little goes a long way
This is a small jar, but don't be fooled, it lasts a while as you don't need much. I use half a spoon when making up couscous and dropped into tomatoes sauces to give some oomph. Love it!

Nice flavour
I love to use harissa in cooking. Saw this one and I expected some chilli heat looking at the label but found it lacked heat and flavour. Had to use more than my normal brand to get the same depth of flavour. I will go back to my normal brand

Lovely product.
The flavour is good, and value is okay. Lovely product. Definitely buy again.
