Not too ultra dark
I’m fairly pale but use tan regularly, normally dark. I was wary about trying the ultra dark. It was lovely going on, smell was ok. However on washing off it was no more dark than the dark tans I wear normally. I also found it didn’t last long compared to other tans. So overall 3/5. There are other tan brands I find more effective. I have attached a pic of the colour before washing off.

Works well and smells nice
As a religious fake tan user I have tried ALOT of tans, I think this is the only one I’ve had that doesn’t smell anything like biscuits! Not that I don’t like the smell of normal tan, this smells quite perfumey which was refreshing. Applied smoothly, really nice colour, not orange at all, olive toned as explained. I’d recommend this tan.

Lovely smell, nice colour.
I’m a huge fan of St Tropez products and use the range every day so was excited to try the new Ultra Dark Violet mousse. It smells amazing and goes on well, especially with a St Tropez mitt. It looks really dark going on but I found that once washed off it isn’t as dark as other dark St Tropez products. I also found that the 8 hour developing time was too long. I usually use the express tan which develops a deep colour within 3 hours. I found this product developed a slightly darker tan which did last longer but I will be sticking with the express tan due to the timing. Overall it’s a lovely product but the main thing that sets it aside from other St Tropez products is the nice scent

I was really frightened to use this at first because I didn't want to look too dark and fake, but OMG I've had complaints all night!

Great tanning mousse
This is a fab product. I love the violet undertones! The product goes on nicely and dries quickly so it doesn't feel tacky for ages. There is a pleasant smell which is a great surprise for a tanning product. The colour comes out lovely!

Fantastic Tan!
Absolute amazing. Goes on easily, don’t smell awful, doesn’t turn out patchy. Turns to a very natural, but also very dark, tan- colour not too orange or too olive. Does start to fade around 5 days in but I still had noticeable colour 10 days after I applied it.

Would use again
Nice tan with a nice scent when first applied, once tan has been washed off it also doesn’t have the usual fake tan smell that the majority come with, I couldn’t really smell any thing. First tan I’ve found that also hasn’t stained my bedding which is a bonus. When I used this I left over night and rinsed off in the morning expecting a deep dark tan, it still gave me a nice light olive colour but expected an ultra dark tan so you may need more than 1 layer depending on the desired look. Overall, would use again and don’t be alarmed when dusty applied and it’s super dark, once rinsed off it would be sutible for most skin shades.

Love this product! I was worried that it might be too dark, but absolutely loved it when washed off! I left it on for the 8 hours rather than the express 1 hour (which is also a great option to have when you are in a rush!), and it was a lovely colour, not streaky and no orange hands! Would DEFINITELY buy this again and will be using over the festive period for that holiday glow.

Absolutely love this stuff!
I’m a user of st tropez anyway so when I saw this product I was so excited to try it! It’s so good! Much better than the old one I was using. It goes on evenly and develops into a gorgeous colour and fades evenly too. A new favourite for sure!

Good product - dark tan
I really liked the product, application was smooth and developed into a dark olive tan. I have normal/pale skin but love a dark tan. Used the mitt provided and as always a great application with this.

St Tropez do it again!
Game changing tan, the violet helps to counteract any green looking tan. Goes on like a dream and non drying on the skin. As someone fairly pale this is a gorgeous olive brown colour!

A nice tan
Really nice tan which gives you a good colour easy to apply gives you a nice bronze look, so you have more than natural deep or olive tan rather than orange. It also has a nice smell to it unlike other tans

Best fake tan EVER
Absolutely amazing. Smelt great and better than normal fake tan. Went on like a dream especially with the mitt. It wasn't patchy and loads of people have asked wat tan I had used because it looked so natural and even.

Amazing tan!!
I received this tan and could not be happier. It spreads evenly and smells amazing! This product is different from all other tans on the market and I couldn’t recommend this enough!
