Our dog is 12 years old and suffers from arthritis. I am sure this food has helped his joints as he now jumps around like he used to and has no problem jumping into the car anymore. I definitely recommend this food for older dogs.

My German Shepherd is a fussy eater but once he tried this dog food he ate it happily. I noticed his coat seemed glossier and he was moving around more then before. If he is happy with the food then I am happy to buy.

I have a super fussy mature Labrador which may seem unbelievable, who only eats 2 brands of food. He happily accepted this food and hasn't looked back. One of his biggest issues was bad breath and teeth but the larger sized kibble seems to have help clean his teeth and both teeth and breath is less offensive. He also has a bit of a sensitive tummy and he has no adverse side effects in this area. His stools are way smaller and firmer and less of them. Which is a huge relief. I also love this food is made in USA so I know it's quality

Quinn was very keen to eat the product initially but then started to leave half behind and then show very little interest but would eventually finish it perhaps overnight. I'm not sure if there is colouring in there but to get personal his stools changed greatly in colour, smell and texture. Not something I enjoyed picking up. Overall I would recommend it to others but its not for us, just didn't agree with him I guess but what works for others may not work for us

This food has made a noticeable difference to my dogs health. I have a 9 year old dobermann with a medical condition (hypothyroidism) that effects her coat - it's thin and greasy, but since feeding her this her coat has improved heaps. It's thicker, glossy and overall just looks and feels nicer. She also has a more energy. Not a quick burst of energy, but a more consistent level of energy. She has also bulked up. She's naturally thin and muscular but she now looks more solid (not fat!) and just healthier in general. Overall she just seems much happier! This food has made a huge difference to her and we will be changing to this from now on.

Jane liked these biscuits. She normally eats Tux which she's had since she was a puppy. She likes smaller sized biscuits which these were. If Iams is cheaper than Tux then we would consider changing.

We tried IAMS proactive health mature adult large breed dog food. Our dog will sometimes not eat her food straight away but with this food she ate is straight away everytime. We have noticed that her coat is nicer and she isn't scratching all the time. Also a great improvement for me since she sleeps next to me in the lounge her farts don't smell anywhere as much as they use to. We will definitely be switching her over to this permanently.

I trialed my Rottie Chief on Iams. Chief loves food and was very happy with the Iams. My German Shepherd Izzy is fussier but loved getting wee nibbles of the food as a treat so she gives a paws up too. Chief was previously on a batch cooked food with less preservatives so we will be continuing on that but should they go off that food I would be happy to buy the Iams as his skin and coat remained healthy and shinny. I like the texture and the size of the kibble.

My very old, deaf, arthritic dog's health has definitely improved since she started this food. She seems to like the taste and has stuck with it even though she is frequently fussy and has rejected other foods in the past. She is not a food-driven dog so she doesn't show huge enthusiasm for any food, but she has been eating her IAMS food with relish. A problem she had with intermittent vomiting and diarrhoea has not happened at all since she started on the IAMS food so we are delighted about that.

I tried giving her IAMS by itself at first, and then used wet food along side it. She definitely preferred eating both wet and dry, but wasn’t that enthused about the dry food by itself. She began to eat all of it by the last week, and in that time I did notice that she was more energetic during playtime which was amazing! I think given more time with it, she would’ve improved, but I didn’t see any immediate effects that would make me want to continue to buy his product unfortunately. Thank you for the opportunity to try your product. At this time, we are not fully convinced that this would be our preferred feed for my older girl.

Hunter loved eating it ,he has a very sensitive tummy, so I gave 1cup new food 1 cup old food morning and night.I was very pleased it didn’t upset his tummy ,I answered no to your questions only because they where yes no questions,I would buy this to mix with his normal food ,his hair and skin looked the same, the only thing I noticed sorry a bit gross but his poos went a bit grey mouldy when I didn’t pick up for a couple of days

Great product. I noticed an improvement in my dogs overall health, he has arthritis in his hips and back legs, and since beginning the trial of the Proactive Health dry dog food he doesn't seem to limp or be in quiet as much discomfort has prior to the trial.
