Is a staple in our house am buying a pack or 2 every week my son and partner are big fans me can't stand them now def do not taste like they did when i was a kid
My teenage daughter really enjoys these! She often has them for breakfast but they're also great for an after school snack before she heads off to any sports practices, etc. We always have a pack of these in the freezer ready to be thrown in the toaster at a moments notice! hehe
Golden crumpets have been a staple on NZ supermarket shelves for a long time, and for good reason. They're soft and so quick to toast. A bit of butter or honey and you've got a delicious breakfast snack.
There aren't many competitors in the supermarkets, simply because Golden do so well and usually a great price.
My only gripe would have to be that they do go off very quickly. When selecting in the supermarket, pay attention to the expiry dates, as usually there are only a couple of days before they go off.

good
yummy breakfast and great in both sweet or savoury. It's best served toasted but it's still yum to eat straight from the package too
you really cannot fault the traditional old fashioned kiwi favourite golden crumpet, make it sweet or savoury for breakfast or toast for a snack. My only issue would be why they are suddenly so expensive

Quick and easy snack
Simple to prepare, lovely and light. Tastes great with butter and honey melted into them.

Nice warm
These are very nice, especially when you geat them up and smother them in butter. It's not as good as freshly made, but it's still pretty good. I would recommend these. They make an easy quick brekkie.
We buy two packets a week - easy breakfast or snack option. Smother in honey for cough and cold season, or almond butter and nuts for packing energy in. Used by our 8 month old (cut into strips), 3 year old and us as adults
Pack on some butter and Vegemite, let it all melt through the holes and it’s a dream come true! Delicious and great texture, little crunchy on the edges is my favourite!
