Easy and Powerful
It was a breeze using the Philips Series 5000 Blender HR2221/01. I found ice are crushed and blended in a shorter period of time. What stood for me was that I no longer had to struggle to find out the right timing for blending different items as the blender has specific buttons that cater to different items. Definitely a blender that I would use and recommend to others

Worth for every sen we spent
It's more powerful and big capacity compared to my previous blender. We can easily open the base of jar for cleaning purposes which we can't do so on the traditional blender.

Reasonably priced powerful blender
It's reasonably priced – especially after finding it on its regular deal offerings, and easy to keep clean. It does what it is supposed to do and it is powerful. The power button is great to press and use however when it starts immediately you have a big explosion! It is noisy and does scare my cat but the result was delicious. I probably had 2 blenders before and got frustrated throwing cheaply designed machines in the bin. I decided to try Philips on the basis of good reviews from other users and good price and it has been absolutely brilliant. I really like this product. Just used it to make smoothies with fresh veg and soups and it was good. You also need a spatula to remove any jams inside. Do not use your fingers if you want to keep them :). Read the instructions before use and you should be fine. If you’re looking for a blender with an ergonomic design that creates fresh vacuum smoothies and crisp ‘snow’ in under a minute, this blender is worth a try.
