Exterior: well-done! The drive is ergonomically pleasing. No rough edges, it has smooth surface, has an eyelet for a keyring. The actual connector is recessed, it can be advanced in the working position by pressing a button and moving the slider. The button has nice tactile feedback once the slider (and the connector) are in the right position. The specs: the figures (read speed up to 100 MB/sec) on the packaging reflect the ideal scenario. In my testing, I found that hardware tests show transfer rates around 40 MB/sec and 3 MB/sec for read/write operations. In a more realistic scenario: writing files from a local drive, using cache, etc. the speeds can go higher: I saw write speed going above 12-15 MB/sec from time to time. And reading from cache will be instantaneous. Both write and read speeds were fairly consistent even when I copied a full image of a DVD disk. Bottom line: this is a good product, perhaps not top performer but well done both physically and electronically.

I am really thankful for this product. I was able to upload all my kids favourite movies and shows to watch wherever he goes. I was unable to upload a movie 7 gb to the stick.

Every computer newbie or expert needs a USB flash drive. Chances are if you're like my house, you search for one of these when you need to copy files such as family photos or even work files to telework. And I never have one when I need it. This USB is great because it's travel friendly as you can hang it on your key chain and then it's there when you need it. Great for storing needed items. It was easy to plug in and store items. Great for work or personal travel as it is light weight but durable. I would suggest that the glide feature of the plug is smoother as it can get difficult to slide the port in and out.

Its a decent lil memory stick. 3.1 so fast transfers but being that its an Onn product I wouldnt put crucial data on here, just maybe pictures and videos. no important files in case it gets corrupted.

I'm very pleased with my onn flash drive. It has a lot of storage and allowed me to free up a bunch of space on my phone and laptop.... All those photos that I never want to part with. Now my phone doesn't ask me to delete something every time I want to take a photo.
