L'Oréal Paris Total Repair 5 Restoring Mask (2)

I have been dealing with dry frizzy ends for awhile now, and have been trying to find a hair product that would help deal with the dry split ends. This product is what has helped smooth those frizzy fly always and decreasing the amount of split ends I have. The only thing I was not a huge fan of was the scent. I would have preferred something floral or fruity.

The product worked well when i used it as a hair mask but it was not useful as a conditioner on my hair. It kind of left my hair a bit oily.

Love how soft it made my hair feel. The smell was wonderful, and it was a thick conditioner, which my hair just loves !

The mask is ok, it smells like cheap hair product and doesn't seem to do much for the hair, but it did leave it looking shinier.

This definitely softens and hydrates the hair I really like it and it smells great but I prefer products that don’t have such a heavy smell

I did not have high expectations initially because I’m used to using more salon hair products. But I was surprised at how soft and smooth my hair turned out! I also like the fact that I only need to have it on for 2 minutes for it to work (as per instructions in the tub), as opposed to other products where they would want 5 minutes. I do wonder how it would work if I keep it on my hair for a longer period of time, but 2 minutes seems to be enough for me!

I liked it the only thing I disliked is the perfume in the products it was very strong and personally I think unnecessary

The product was ok, it did not give the result advertised for my hair. I am a little lenient with the score because I know this brand caters primarily to Caucasian hair and I have thick natural afro hair. It didn't provide a lot of moisture and I had a good amount of product buildup in the end. It was better on my husband hair (Indian hair) but still left a good amount of buildup. It also had a lot of silicone in it and ingredients that aren't very natural. Wouldn't buy again if I was shopping for hair products

For super fried, heat-damaged hair like mine, a good product can go a LONG way in preventing further damage and just making hair look and feel better. The L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Restoring Mask boasts that hair fibres will be 51% restored after 1 use and 100% after 5 uses, so I knew I needed to give it a try. However, after 3 uses, I've come to the conclusion that this is a good, but not great, mask. I might keep using it to see if my hair will truly improve, but I ultimately think there are more effective products out there. Pros: Nice long-lasting floral scent Multiple uses (rinse-off mask or leave-in conditioner) Moisturizing Makes hair smooth, shiny, more manageable Lots of product in jar = great value for money Cons: Scent can be overwhelming to some Formula may be too thick and heavy for finer hair Benefits are not really different from other masks on the market Results are not big or fast for very damaged hair Some may not appreciate that the product contains silicones

I have naturally dark curly hair, so they are more on the dry side. And i made the mistake to put them through 3 rounds of bleach in one year (2 years ago). Since then, My hair always feel dry, brittle, with a lot of split ends, and i loose them a lot. I usually buy high end masks from Sephora, so i honestly didn't have any expectations from this drugstore alternative. I tried a lot of mask and treatments, and honestly, i must say that i am very impressed by this mask. Wow!! After the first use, my hair felt already stronger, and so soft (my boyfriend noticed it). And also since it contains keratin, after blow drying and straightening them it was even softer. Also helps with smoothing and frizz. I will certainly continue to use it. And let's not forget it is a fraction of the price of a high end mask, and as of right now, i don't see any difference with my Briogeo or Moroccanoil. Hair feel as soft, sleek and detangle. Damn L'oreal, this treatment is really good !!
