Not messy
I tried this product and was very happy with results. I didn't get it all over the place to start with, as it was easy to apply. It blended well with my hair color, saved me from doing all my hair when in a hurry.

Root touch up
Great product, easy to use, dripless applicator. This is my favorite product for in between dyeing. I will continue to use this product as well as the new root touch-up color blending gel.
