Had a potluck with my friends and I made rhubard strawberry pie! Didn't have time to make pie crust from scratch but didn't want to use a store bought one either - this mix was the perfect choice. It tasted homemade, no weird artifical flavour or texture. No one could tell it was from a box haha, it was nice and flaky

Need some practice
I am very bad at baking and maybe that’s why I couldn’t make a good pie. The edges were overcooked and the middle was undercooked. Maybe after some more practice, it will be perfect. But it’s very easy for beginners .

Nice and Flaky
This pie crust mix is easy to prepare and doesn't disappoint. It has a flaky texture and browns nicely. Even a beginner would be comfortable using it. It's really good.

Quick and Easy
Dr. Oetker Shirriff Pie Crust Mix is a convenient option for making a quick and easy pie crust. It’s simple to prepare, requiring just a few ingredients, and it bakes up nicely with a good texture. While it might not have the same homemade taste, it’s a solid choice if you’re short on time and need a reliable crust for your pies.

Easy and tasty
Super easy to make and tastes incredible. This baking company never disappoints! I bought the pecan pie filling to go with it and it was a hit !
Ive used other pie crusts from different brands before, but this Dr Oekter brand really shines through. I usually bake from scratch, but around holidays I search for an easier way out. These really help, and taste great!
I've not had much success with pie crusts but this product makes it easy. My tarts turn out perfect every time.

Flakey pie crust
Not always having time to do things from scratch, this is an easy way to prepare a pie crust for a tasty dessert. I've made apple, cherry, and pumpkin pie with this crust and it turns out pretty good. Definitely very flakey and crumbly so that is something to be mindful if you don't like that kind of texture.
I love a buttery pie crust and I love to say I made it myself but I just can't for the life of my make it good. Even when I try. I'm sure it's just user error but I can't get it to stick and it always turns out like melted or crumbly. Sorry Dr. Oetker.
The crusts come out perfectly golden and crisp, providing the ideal base for both sweet and savory fillings. I appreciate the versatility of this mix, allowing me to customize the flavor and thickness of the crust to suit my preferences. Whether I'm making a classic apple pie or a savory quiche, Dr. Oetker Shirriff Pie Crust Mix consistently delivers excellent results. Plus, its easy-to-follow instructions ensure foolproof baking every time. If you're looking to elevate your homemade pies with professional-quality crusts, I highly recommend giving Dr. Oetker Shirriff Pie Crust Mix a try.
I was used to making my crust from scratch until I found this amazingly easy alternative. I use it all the time and always have a couple of boxes on hand.
This product did not provide a flakey crust it was a little dense but when you are not a seasoned Baker it is still tasty in that you can taste the lard and flour they give you the overall pastry taste you want still if your looking for layers of light flakey pastry this product just doesn't produce that .
