Safe for everyone, adults and kids
I just received it, it must have gotten lost in the mail. I enjoyed it, its safe to use. This weather is still cold so not much mosquitoes. I don't mind the smell. At first I thought it went out but it was still going. The weather has been damp so I thought it had went out. Super easy to move it around when its lit. I didn't have to worry about kids near it. It seem to be very safe with kids running around.

No Mess, No Pests
I was very pleased that the holder kept the majority of ash and broken coil contained. I am actually storing the unused coil in it, so now my what not drawer doesn't have broken crumbles of mosquito coil in it. I am unsure if it deters the pests the same as there haven'tbeen any skeeters around yet but the smoke seemed to flow the same. I think it was a brilliant idea for something that has bothered many of us outdoor enthusiasts

A nice update to coil mosquito repellers
This functions as it should and permits the user to hang it out of reach. For me this was useful as I have a 3 year old and 1 year old and this is a attraction. Where it lacks is that there are better repellers now out there (removed a star for this). For Coghlan to stay in the game it will have to update it's technology.

Mosquito Coil Holder Review - Thumbs Up
I was very impressed with the Coghlan's Mosquito Coil Holder. This holder will prevent people from accidentally hitting the coil when it is burning. I am so happy that I now have the option to hang the mosquito coil so that it can do it's job, but be out of the way. I absolutely love that I can use up all the broken coil pieces. I simply lit a few broken bits, placed them on the holder and they burned with no issues. I can't wait to use this on our next camping trip.

Simple and perfect.
We live in an area that starting in June will be mosquito city. It is a constant battle. Last year we used Coglans Mosquito coils Hanging from metal wire without realizing there is a holder which is so handy and much safer, especially with kids around. The coils will work great with a proper holder, it will be much more effective. We do not have mosquitos in BC yet but the time is soon. We will definetely be getting more of these to take camping as well.

great for hanging
I like that this holder can be hung or carried while walking. It has a mesh interior screen that will hold the coil in place. However, I think that there are others that look better that are made of ceramic or terracotta. It will work great in the gazebo (once the temperature is seasonal or above)

The hanging design compared to stable situatuated coil holders is supreme! It moves and turns in all direction to quite literally "fog" a much larger area of space as apposed to a holder sitting on a table! The smoke/fog is above you so, no irated nostrels for breathing in the smoke! It's convenient and out of the way

I feel more comfortable

Absolutely love my new mosquito holder
I absolutely love my new coghlans mosquito coil holder. This product is genius, It feels safer then the little tabs provided with the coils. I love that you can hang it anywhere and that the ashes remain in tje holder. I will definitely investing in a few to hang around my deck or our camping spot. I would highly recommend this product.
