Yummy cooking
I’m enjoying using this product it’s great in the oven and bbq. Do wish it was a tad bit bigger so it would sit on two burners, but it doesn’t probably my only complaint. I’ve cooked meat, veggies even breakfast eggs pancakes everything has been very yummy totally enjoying cooking with it.

Absolutely amazing
I received Coghlans cast iron griddle and couldn’t wait to put it to the test! Used it on an open fire and used the griddle first!! Cooked steaks and it was perfect. The steaks were perfect and the clean up was a quick wipe and done! The next morning for breakfast, I made pancakes and eggs on the skillet side and they turned out better than anything I’ve made at home. I highly recommend this griddle.

Awesome grill!
I like this grill a lot! I really like the double sides and that you can use it both on the stovetop and on a barbeque. I would definitely bring this along the next time I go camping as well. Would definitely recommend!

Solid portable griddle
This is a solid portable griddle with good handles to easily transport it. The ridges help with draining fat, and it drains to the edges. It is built to fit over a stove, but I think it is best suited for an open flame (so gas stove or firepit). It is compact, yet roomy.

Cast iron griddle
Over all I loved this product. I loved how sturdy it felt. I loved how it heated up. I loved how the food grilled on it. And how great everything tasted! I started out by placing both of my burners on med high. Let the griddle heat up for a couple of minutes. Added my pork chops and cooked for 3 min per side. They browned nicely and evenly. Took the pork off and added my flat breads. Grilled those for 1 min each side. Toasted beautifully while still being soft and chewy inside. Very much loved this griddle. The only 2 things I did not like, was my kitchen got smokey even with the kitchen fan being turned on. Also my stove top got brown heat marks on the surface from the heat of the griddle. They did easily wipe off this time but I will watch out for that as the stains could easily become permanent. Over a a fantastic product and I can't wait to use it on the open fire while camping!

Excellent for grilling and frying
We were camping and used the grill side for some nice ribeye steaks and they turned out perfectly, also roasted some veggies that turned out really well. The griddle side made delicious pancakes in the morning that was easy to flip as it’s nonstick, the pancakes cooked evenly despite being on a camp fire which tends to have hotter and cooler areas across the for woot. No issues with flipping the pancakes either, I would say it is easier to make them on this griddle than at home!

2 in 1 happiness
My husband loves camping and had always had issues in how to cook food while on his trip. Gladly, this cast iron skillet+grill made his life easier. Its not too bulky which meant he can easily hang it with his hikers bag and take it with him on the go. Super easy to use and he has already recommended it to so many friends.

Versatile cookware
I love this grill! I tested it out on the BBQ and made some pancakes. They were light, fluffy and well cooked. The grill kept a nice even temperature and was easy to regulate. I look forward to using this for camping. I think it will make cooking over a fire so much more predictable. The shape and size are perfect and it doesn’t take up much room in your camping gear kit. I can see us using this for pancakes/sausages/eggs in the morning and burgers/kebabs/grilled veggies in the evenings. This grill is a workhorse!

Light enough to pack
I love the fact that this has a smooth pancake side! It has a grilled side for draining fat from my burgers, but I also am always using a flat side for eggs and bacon or pancakes. This will save me from having to deal with washing my big heavy cast iron pan every morning camping.

Heavy and duel sides.
This product is made out of quality materials with a good way to it and it comes with two different sides which makes a double as useful. I would recommend this to anybody that needs a griddle for a small barbeque

Cast Iron Griddle
This griddle is a compact design that is perfect for camping. The usable cooking area is 14"x 9", so if you are cooking say frozen hamburger patties, you can fit 5 burgers or a couple of steaks. One side is flat and the other has lines for grilling. I would highly recommend this griddle for anyone who is going camping or at home use. I love using it.

Excellent griddle, wish it was larger!
We used this on an open fire without any issues at all. Love the handles on the sides. Really practical and does its job. Cleans really well too. I only wish it was larger in size as we could only cook so much things on it. We used the skillet side to make breakfast, and the grill side for steak and veggies. We did have to make our meal in 2 batches as it was a bit small, but not a huge issue.

Disappointed for stovetop cooking
I was hoping this would be a great way to fry eggs or grill meat on my stove-providing more space than a frying pan. However, the design worked poorly with my stove top. Although my element converts to provide heat to the whole pan, it is difficult to cook on. It didn’t seem to heat evenly and didn’t provide the ‘non/stick’ quality that my cast iron frying pan does-despite it claiming to be pre seasoned. The design of it makes it difficult to move off the elements when you are finished as the handles are flat and heat along with the pan. It was difficult to clean. This may work better over an open fire while camping if you don’t care to move and clean it right away.

Works great
Used the product on our stove top. Worked great. Based on the product’s length it seems to be designed for 2 burners but you have to position it just right. Pork chops cooked great. This is definitely better than our electric indoor grill.

So fat so good
I received this product 2 days ago and so far its a nice product. It's a little heavy but not as heavy as some of my other cast iron products. Being from a mexican family we use cast iron alot so this product will be great. We have made our tortillas on it and also our grilled steaks. The tortilla did stick a bit but I think its because we didn't put enough oil down or the heat was too hot. It grilled the meat beautifully with a nice color. I love that I can use this camping? on open flame or on top of my gas stove. The cookspace is a very good size.
