Not dogs
My daughter is vegetarian hence my purchase. These are great and I would purchase again.

Love them
Even though I am not a vegetarian anymore I still buy these hotdogs as they are so tasty and I prefer them to the 'meat' versions as I know what is in them. The meaty version of these contain the waste products of the meat processing plant which isn't ideal or appetising. I also love that these Vege hotdogs don't have any gristle or garbage in them. I love these hotdogs, the perfect treat food without the guilt.

these taste great!!!
these vegan sausages have been around for ages so i decided to try them and they are so good they taste exactly like the meat ones and they also taste similar ti the original hot dogs at Ikea these are very tasty.

I buy when it’s my only option
These have been around for so long. I’m not really a fan of the soy taste, I only enjoyed them when I rolled them in puff pastry and turned it into sausage rolls. There is another brand I prefer but these will do when I’m really stuck.

Bangers and Mash
As a vegan I’m really happy there are far more options to choose from now. I like these for convenience or when I feel like bangers and mash. I do like eating these raw! They do have a strong soy flavour but other than that, they’re great.

When craving a hot dog
I’d rather eat this when I’m craving a hotdog! Add some meatless chilli con carne, mashed peas, onion and sauce in a hotdog bun and it’s the best.

VERY TASTY
I liked the taste and the texture of these hot dogs. A great alternative to meat. It's always good to a meat free dinner a few times a week.

Excellent Meat Alternative
My go to when I get a craving for a hot dog. As a vegetarian you don't have too many options for a simple meat free hot dog, most alternatives are flavoured. These are plain tasting, and you can microwave or boil and they still retain their firm texture.

Delicious
I love these. So versatile and tasty! Easy to cook, and the texture is just right. They’re firm and go perfect in a hotdog roll with some tomato sauce!

Tasty vegetarian protein
I love these hotdogs because they are so versatile. They have a nice firm texture and savoury flavour. For a quick lunch I fry them in olive oil and add them to wraps with salad and cheese. I also add them sliced up to pasta sauce or served with mash. They are a great source of protein and B12 and are a regular purchase for me.

Tasty meat alternative
I really enjoyed these. They don’t contain random minced up parts of animals which is a win from me! Much better for you, need to cook with olive oil though, otherwise can be quite dry.

miss the old flavour
I have been buying this product for many years. As a vegetarian for 40 years, it's nice to be able to enjoy a vegie hot dog that doesn't try to mimic the taste of meat. However, ever since Vegie Delights took over from Sanitarium I find these Classic Hot Dogs don't taste the same. It's a real shame, as i really loved the firmer texture and flavour of the old Sanitarium product and I would have given it a full star rating. Something seems missing now. The product as it stands today is OK and I will still buy it when on special. I like to fry it with an egg. Cut it up into rounds and add to stir fries or soups ( towards the end of cook time to avoid over cooking). Diced and popped on top of a pizza. Nice cut up and put into a salad. I also like to snack on them cold and dipped into mayo. If Vegie Delights could bring back the old time Sanitarium flavour I would be one happy camper. Don't mess with perfection.

Good taste and texture
If you’re looking for a meat alternative these are good, and quite versatile (can use them for hotdogs, sausage pasta, sausage and mash) but probably wouldn’t appeal to an actual Meat eater. As a vegetarian I enjoyed them and would purchase again.

Taste good oven baked for non vegetarians as well
Stove top was not working so we backed the viggie hotdogs and we enjoyed the flavour with the usual tomato sauce, dips and salads.

Not a substitute
This product is nice. However don’t try to pretend that it tastes like a real hot dog. I am not a vegetarian but I eat several vegetarian foods and meals. It does not taste like a hot dog. It has its own interesting taste. Meat eaters may not like this product.
