Rubbery bacon

Urrrrgggh
The tagline suggest it's as good as friend in just 30 seconds. Well, no, that's not quite right. Zapping a piece of bacon in the microwave doesn't do it. It not only lacks the taste but looks like something from a cheap school lunch. It may be hassle free in that it means you don't need to mess up your pans and kitchen, but I would only recommend this if you are a desperate and have no idea how to cook.

Not good at all
I did not like this at all. While the idea of microwave bacon sounds easy enough the product itself wasn't worth it. It didn't taste nice, the product felt really rubbery and super chewy. Would never purchase again

Waste of money
When I cooked it to specs it looked like a pink lifeless bit of rubber. Did not look like any bacon I would eat, so I microwaved it again, still didn't improve the look. So I pan fried the rest. Won't be tempted again; luckily they only costed me 39 cents for each packet.

for those who cant cook
It actually tasted ok, which was much to my surprise. However it is very expensive. I wouldn't buy it, i am happy to buy normal bacon and panfry it. The only use if for people who dont have access to a frying pan/ grill/bbq.

Not as good as fried
As a bacon coinsure; microwave bacon doesn't cut it, it needs to have some fat that crisps up when you cook it, I will be sticking with regular bacon

Easy and yum!!
This was so easy/simple/quick! Perfect for 'in a hurry' breakfast addition for our family. Tastes great, no need to watch it/turn it/clean up afterwards! Myself, my husband and our children enjoyed it! However, I wouldn't pay full price for the amount you get!

Great idea but big fail
This product is a great idea for the time poor but unfortunately it’s horrible. Tastes undercooked, texture is horrible and you might as well be chewing on a thong/flip flop it is that rubbery.

That's a no from me...
Arhh no, bacon yes, microwaved no. The portion size was limited. Once cooked it looked like one of those fake rubber kiddie cooking toys you buy for play. Definitely tasted terrible. You can not beat pan fried bacon, well I can't that's for sure. So this is no way from me, Definitely would not recommend it if your a bacon lover.

expensive for what you get
This package had very little bacon. It heated ok in the microwave but came out rubbery and quite tasteless. I cannot see the point as ordinary bacon cooks well in the microwave and has way more flavour. It is way overpriced for the quantity in the pack.Would not buy this product.

Waste of money
This bacon was horrible. Tasteless and rubbery and expensive for what you get. Will definitely be avoiding next shop and sticking to regular bacon in the future. Would not recommend

Its ok, but normal bacon is just as easy
I will often microwave bacon as I do not have the time to properly cook it on the stove, I bought this in hopes that it would taste as good, if not better than using normal bacon. The first thing to say is that the bacon is previously cooked, meaning that whilst yes it is caramelized, when you microwave it for the recommended time, the bacon becomes dried out, and flavourless funnily enough. The only reason why I bought it was because it was on sale. It was on sale for a reason. For the price, just buy normal bacon and stick it in the microwave, it tastes nicer.

yuck
this bacon was horrible it was like eating rubber and its so expensive all you really get is some rubbery fat cool idea but bad turn out doesn't crisp at all which kind of sucks i will never buy this again.

way too expensive
This was so expensive for what you get. I like the concept but it just didn't crisped up and tasted like warm ham and was a bit fatty too.

2 slices even when half price is not worth the cost - I would much prefer to buy back to cook in the pan
