Amazing, well above expectation
The toothbrush far exceeded my expectations, really shocked me, I mean honestly, how special can a toothbrush be!? and it's kind of pricey.. BUT I can honestly say my teeth have never felt this clean and I genuinely mean that. From the moment you unbox it you can feel this is a premium item the build quality is great, you can tell that they've really thought about the user in the design, simple things like the charger and brush body is so much easier to clean this versus the more basic supermarket variety. The Bluetooth connection to your phone with the guided brushing app I found really useful. It's a little nerdy, sure, but it yields results. At the beginning I asked myself who would buy such an expensive toothbrush?? by the end of my test I knew who would - Me.

Quality Toothbrush - Thorough Clean
The Oral-B iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush is a fantastic electric toothbrush. It's easy to set up and it's rechargeable. I love having no batteries to worry about! I found it's partner app really simple to install and use (on iPhone). This is really one of the bonuses of this toothbrush - using the app and toothbrush in tandem gives me confidence that I've brushing my teeth thoroughly and that I'm not too hard on my gums or teeth. The toothbrush also has a light that changes colour to let you know when you're too rough if you don't feel like using the app. My teeth are very clean and I'm happy!

The VIP of toothbrushes
I was skeptical at first of the price tag of this toothbrush - I have the basic version and wondered how anything could be different enough to warrant such a steep price increase. After my first week of using it I then understood the difference. I love the way is highlights the pressure to let you know how you're reaching your teeth - I can't feel the difference without the light on so its good to know when I'm pressing to hard. The timer for the 2 min. recommendation makes you feel guilty and you carry on brushing as not to make the toothbrush generate the sad face! My favorite toothbrush head is the sharper head that provides a deeper more aggressive clean in my opinion. The only thing I wasn't completely sold on was the settings 'sensitive / whitening' both felt the same as daily clean. I could however definitely tell the difference on the intense. It is a very powerful toothbrush so users need to be careful whilst adjusting. I caught my gums at first and made them sore.

Makes brushing fun
Great clean feeling, as if I’ve just had a clean at the dentist. Great tech features which make brushing less mundane. Easy to use, although a bit chunkier than my current electric toothbrush. Would definitely recommend as an investment for your oral health.

Like a dentist in the palm of your hands
I was one who didn’t think an electric toothbrush would make much difference in the overall clean. But boy I was wrong!! Super lightweight to hold, the smart technology to signal too much or too little pressure is a game changer. Love that there are different modes. Can not believe how white my teeth are from using the whitening mode. The charge lasts for ever. Really sleek design with easy to use settings. This has taking brushing teeth to a whole new level

Gamify brushing teeth!
This electronic tooth brush is different with the average one you can get in super market. The motor movement is more similar to the professional dentist cleaning equipment, leave the teeth ultra clean feeling. It also can sense the pressure, signal you if you put too much or not enough pressure, which is very useful. Another aspect that is surprising for me is the gamification part. I started using it with the OralB app when brushing my teeth. It showing me in real time, where I am brushing and if I did enough brushing or not. Its like a real time challenge, I just want to achieve 100% coverage all the time! And since I started using the app, my average brushing time is always around 2:30, and it gives me confident that my teeth is clean. Definitely recommend you use the toothbrush with the app!

Fantastic premium toothbrush
The toothbrush was amazing. I was impressed that it was noticeably better than my existing Braun Pro 2 2500. I felt that the iO series 8 gave me a better more thorough clean and was quieter, more smooth and gentler. The different brushing modes are also a plus! The smiley face on the display to welcome and provide user feedback makes brushing more enjoyable.

Never looking back - what a brush!
Being a bit of a tech head, I was super excited to try out the Oral-B iO toothbrush. I'd read about it online (c-net, my favourite tech site gave it best high-end electric toothbrush for 2021) and was very interested in seeing how it performed vs other electric and manual options. Right from the unboxing, it didn't disappoint. The packaging is quite premium and it felt like I was opening something quite special. Even the included travel case is impressive, both in the material and the way it opens. When I finished unpacking and switching it on for the first time, the toothbrush told me it needed a firmware update! Certainly a first for me in a bathroom product and very cool from a techie point of view. I downloaded the app (yes, there's an app) and the iO 8 dutifully updated it's firmware and then we were ready to go. What a brush! 7 different brush modes, a guided brush via the app, pressure sensors and feedback, it's incredible. Totally converted from manual brushing now!

Incredible electric toothbrush.
I have used electric toothbrushes in the past but the Oral-B iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush is completely different. The brush head moves in a completely different way and is almost silent. I also loved the quadrant notifications to keep me on track to ensure my whole mouth is cleaned

I am converted I will never use another toothbrush again. I have used other brand electric toothbrushes in the past and not been a fan of them. The Oral-B iO has shown me just how good your teeth feel after been cleaned with a good toothbrush. It like a dentist clean twice a day

Amazing electric toothbrush
The Oral-B iO Series 8 electric toothbrush is amazing in comparison to my old manual toothbrush. It has a good app which shows areas that need brushing and a timing device. It does take a lot trying to work out the device as it is complicated. The negatives are the brush only let's you know when it is almost flat, is a bit complex and the price!!

Oral-B iO is great!
I have always used oral-b electric toothbrushes from a young age although usually on the cheaper end. I was always hesitant to pay more for a toothbrush but have been pleasantly surprised. The direct drive compared to the cheaper older models is incredible. I would say its a great happy medium between oscillating and sonic brushes. My teeth have not had that just left the dentist feeling apart from doing just that. I now have this feeling twice a day. In saying that I gave up on the bundled app a day or two after use as I find it to be a novelty. I do however like the different intensities and modes available on the brush itself. The charging station is also a huge upgrade cleaning it is simple and painless. The included travel case and brush head holder are also welcome upgrades from my previous mid range oral-b. It does annoy me slightly that the brush heads are different (because now I have a lifetime supply of the older style in the cupboard!) however do understand. Awesome product

Aiming for 100%!
I absolutely love the Oral-B io electric toothbrush! It is easy to use and easy to hold. I love using it in conjunction with the app so I can track the coverage of when I am cleaning my teeth. The Bluetooth enable capacity is great!

Who thought toothbrush could be easier?
The Oral-B iO series 8 electric toothbrush was really good. I was very surprised at the features and all the elements that ultimately give my teeth a better clean. Can easily tell if pushing too hard or too soft. Toothbrush itself gives a really good clean. I have also downloaded the app but still learning this but very impressed about what it can report on.

Electric toothbrush newbie
I've never used an electric toothbrush before so was open to trying this one. I did not enjoy it at first, I felt the vibration when turned on was very strong - but changed the setting to sensitive and this reduced the vibration intensity and the more I used the toothbrush, the more I got used to the vibration and feel. It does feel like a good clean after and the battery had good life also.
