Hard pie
I've tried these pies a few times and no matter what I do the crust always seems to be rock hard

Pastry goes terribly hard
I am reviewing the Mrs Macs Beef Pies 4pack. I microwaved it covered 2 mins on 1st side and 1 minute on the other. The pie crust goes rock hard very quickly and would be even worse if I followed the instructions to let it stand for 2 minutes afterwards! As such half the pie is wasted, only the filling is edible. These pies retail at $9.50/4pk which is very expensive and wasteful.

Great for on the go
This is a great pie for a fast feed. You just put in the microwave and within minutes your eating a good pie. I found the mixture in the pie was not too bad, a bit try for my tasting. The pastry was a bit thick, but overall it was good

Thick pastry and not enough filling
For a quick, slightly cheap and easy meal this works but the pastry and not enough filling. Understandable though since it’s going to be in the microwave.

Mrs Mac pie
Thoroughly enjoyed the pie. Plenty of mixture and was very tasty. Pastry was a tad on the thicker side but not too much of an issue.

Did not like the pastry on this pie
The pastry is way too thick for my liking & didn’t think much of the filling. I won’t be buying this brand again!

this is a very tasty pie and very easy to heat up pop in the microwave then eat it yummy

nice pie
It tastes nice but when i put it in the microwave the pastry went soggy so with the next pie i put it in the oven and it was perfect

Pleasantly surprised
We were sceptical about this product being microwavable. However, it was crispy, tastey and easy to follow instructions. Meat is tastey. Great for a quick lunch or snack. Mrs Macs is a reliable brand. Will buy again!
